My biggest bitcoin regret is not investing my time for bitcoin earlier. Because, if I invested my time on bitcoin when I first heard it I might have helped my family for financial purposes now.
This is what i regret too, since i start in bitcoin the value is only $200 i do not invest because i do not have faith in bitcoin before but when time come value of bitcoin increasing and i start investing bitcoin at the value of $700. But for now i can say that bitcoin was a big help for me to stay away in financial problem.

I regret I haven't found about it back in 2009 or 2010... but it's too late for regrets now I guess

You no need to disappoint with that because at least you already know about bitcoins and start saving some of them now otherwise after few years you may regret it that even though you knew it but didn't save it for the future. That's why I usually save some of my bitcoins for longer term investment purpose and will not sell for short term profits.

I've been bullish with Bitcoin, and to be honest it has gone up quicker than I expected.  I'm not surprised at the price, but I am a little surprised at how quickly it got to where it's currently at.

The regret is that I got a small amount of bitcoin through sig campaigns a couple years ago, but didn't invest my own money into it.  Stayed in the stock market and cash instead, which haven't gained anything close to bitcoin.

I agree, if you use your bitcoin to help you in any means should not be regretted.  Same way with buying foods, paying bills and sending remittances just to help your relatives.  But if you sold them for luxurious thing, then I think you should regret the action of converting it just to feed your wants.
Yes we may be regret at first but at the end of the day , our regret will turn to be thankful, we will be thankful because bitcoin helps us in our everyday needs. It helps us to provide the things that we cant afford. We can buy our foods our goods our clothes and even our neccessities. We can be happy for every single thing that we can get.

Not having found bitcoin earlier!
My biggest regret or mistakes relating bitcoin was not paying attention the moment I first knew about it. Back about a few months ago when my cousin was kinda like introducing it to me and explaining me some systems about it. Should have been more knowlegable about the processes and transactions bitcoin involves. And with being a kinda ignorant for some quite time I did not make it up when bitcoin costs less than now. It just sucks. But making it up to myself now.

I regret that I did not dump everything I had into it in 2010.

.

That could be a pretty huge amount by now and you might be a millionaire by now. The only thing here is that havent you enjoyed all your earnings? If not then it could really be a great mistake but if not then there is nothing to regret about

True.  If you have not dumped by now you would still hold on.  Wait until forever to cash out

What are some of your biggest bitcoin regrets, and what were you thinking back then?

Besides "not getting in sooner"  Grin

Obligatory: BFL  Tongue

EDIT: Bitcoin "mistakes" go here =)

My biggest regret on bitcoin is that back in 2014, my friend introduced me to bitcoin but I did not mind it at all because I just thought that bitcoin was just nothing, and I just started last February 2017 and I feel like I was too late now from earning in mining, and any other stuffs that can make you earn easily before when the price was just low and I regret on not buying it. I also regret on trusting someone online to exchange with me in coins and BTC which I got scammed and I sent him $10 and he never replied ever again. I was just so pissed and angry. I will never again trust someone who wants to exchange !  Undecided Those are the moments that i regret.

Never buying when i first of bitcoin in 2013...

You do have the same regret for not buying earlier. Well I know that you are not just the ones that are regretting it now. We can't go back to the past and adjust the time back. My one regret is I wasn't able to sell at the peak and sell it at dip when I'm calculating the profit that I shall get by that time is really regretting too.

No one can turn the clock now, what happened has happened.Everyone had this feeling that they missed out on becoming a millionaire if the found out about bitcoin way back in the start but what people do not understand is that most of the alt coins which came years after that have had a similar rally, take the case of ETH,check out the price when it started and look at the price now,in totality you would miss it even if you are entering bitcoin when it all started. I made a bad decision recently, when I decided to sell a large part of my coins when the price reached the historical mark of $1,300, expecting a big correction close to $800 to acquire more coins. While it is true the the price dropped to $900, I kept waiting with my buy orders at $800 and I very much doubt that one day the price can fall to those levels.

I know that at this point the price is too high to invest much of my hard earned money in buying more btc, but with a lot of patience and through trading I hope to gradually recover my losses. Cry

I regret when the first i know about bitcoin that is year 2010 bitcoin worth 50$ only i really regret it. I don't believed on bitcoin that time so that i don't buy bitcoin but now if i can see the price i really feel sad. If that time i buy bitcoin i think this days am millionaire.

Yes even I have made the same mistake for not buying bitcoins at that price even though I was aware about bitcoins but didn't had faith that it will survive or it will go higher in future and if I would have bought bitcoins at that time then I would be holding more then 100 bitcoins at this stage and now its never possible to have 100 btc in wallet.
I think so many regrets happen, especially lately, because they sell the bitcoin they've sold at a price of $ 1000 or less. Well, nobody expected that bitcoin prices would be as high as this, in fact I'm also a bit sorry for having sold my bitcoin at a cheap price.

The fact is I never thought that bitcoin will go this high in future as I know bitcoins since last 3 to 4 years but never wanted to risk my money by investing in it as I had a feeling that bitcoin will be there only for 1 or 2 years and never thought that it would be this valuable in future.
Though, there's no point on regretting that. It's better for us to dedicate our time on earning BTC instead.
And yeah, no one exactly knows how bitcoin can be this valuable especially a guy back then who uses his BTC to buy pizza. Many people have been repeatedly saying that bitcoin will surpass $10,000 in the future and I think it's really possible seeing that today, Bitcoin could reach $2,000 dollar within short time span. while I'm here, confusing with my ass and can't decide whether to hold or sell right now.
Yeah, the best thing is to work for it to earn it. If someone don’t work for it to earn then they must have regrets because of having an opportunity and they don’t use it or avail the opportunity. I personally believe at the target that I have set for myself to earn from the Bitcoin and sell it when it reach at a specific price and then work to gain more, this is my success. I have no regrets in selling the Bitcoins that I had at my target price.

One of my biggest bitcoin regrets is when I used my bitcoin to purchase something way back a few months ago. I regretted it because there is a huge increase in it's price. and it is still continuously rising to the moon. If I became patience and kept it, I probably had earned more. Lesson learned. Keep your bitcoin for now and wait.
i think you should not regret for that because if you have used your bitcoin when you need it, it is a blessing that you have that and you can use it, to me i think the biggest regret for me is that when bitcoin was trading in 1200 USD, there was a plenty of asset with me but i do not invest it in bitcoin. but still i am here confident about that in future i will get more and more good chances to make more and more money.

I sold lots of bitcoins when it was just $300 price. I regret it but it was history already. I just can't believe how I see I got those bitcoins before but now, it is like gold, so hard to get - but maybe it is just for me, I am pretty sure that there are others there that can easily get these bitcoins.
For you it will be a good time this is not something to feel down for I guess. I hope it was one of your best decisions at that time. A time will come when people will even feel sorry for selling their Bitcoins @ $2300, but I don’t consider it a mistake if it was so the exchanges will feel sorry for almost all the time that they should keep it and shouldn’t have sell it. If you sell it, it is okay but if you sell and don’t struggle for the new ones to collect will be something to feel sorry for.
