There are still eight months left in 2024. Every month that passes, there may be a spike or decline caused by an event that affects market activity.

Whatever the price, it can still happen every month after month that will pass this year.
Nothing is impossible when the time comes.
Price speculation to keep us enthusiastic about going month after month.
I’m actually not totally optimistic with how bitcoin price will go through this year, but still unexpected things will still happen when we least expect them. It could be bitcoin price skyrocketing, or the massive price decline that’s beyond our control. So let’s just wait and see.
If you are not completely optimistic about Bitcoin prices this year, it means that the halving that is expected to occur this year will not be that special for you.
I think that 2024 will be a special year in terms of Bitcoin prices with the possibility of reaching $100K.
$80K is a price that is very close to being reached if I monitor the market situation from January to today, April 9, 2024.

It's not that I don't pay attention to decline because decline always occurs after there is an increase. For example, when the price touched $73K, a decline occurred but did not reach the price level below $60K.

This is hard to predict accurately, because we are talking about the future on a high volatile assest. Bitcoin price fluctuation will always make it impossible to have a proper guess of the price.

The price is at 67k as I am typing and the halving is very close, which after the halving in few months we would see the price pumping. Due to the approval of bitcoin ETF, I will go for a price speculation of 100k by the end of this year.
basically the prediction of Bitcoin is very okay to me, I know quite well that is the person is making assumption and sometimes our assumptions always be correct and sometimes to our assumptions does not go with the future price of Bitcoin but let me say that bitcoin prices on unpredictable from my own perspective, so I believe that the price always changes and it does not to go on one person's Direction based on it always fluctuate so we cannot decide now and say this is the exact price of Bitcoin in Next year or in next two years it is the future that determines what the price of Bitcoin will be depending the the gravity of the demand and the supply of that current time so I don't simply believe on some predictions made by people I compared with my own knowledge to believe what the future will yield

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all well, i'll keep this short.

What is your educated guess relating to the end of year BTC price?

My personal assumption is 70K GBP (88K USD / 82K EURO), I may be pessimistic with my assumption but the risk management side of myself sees this as achievable.

In all honesty i'm unsure on the talk surrounding 79K GBP (100K USD / 92K EURO)

Congratulation!  I'm fine hope you're fine too. By the end of 2024, I can predict a maximum of $90,000 in Bitcoin price predictions. I estimate that by the end of 2024, Bitcoin will be worth $90,000. We are currently in the pumping season and approaching the halving year I have made this assumption. In fact, even though I technically cannot make predictions, I have guessed with my best efforts and hope that I will be successful in my guesses.

If Bitcoin hits $100k then there is no way it's coming back to 5 digits anytime sooner because we will see more investment pouring in it it crosses $100k because this has been a long awaited target for years but right now I feel it's accumulation period as there has been ups and downs in the market. I think how market behaves post halving will decide if it's possible this year or the following year.
Current market behavior still tends to stagnate in the $67K to $70K range so this also needs to be seen and understood well by everyone because the halving is also getting closer. The price of $100K is a fairly reasonable range for many people to say and hope for this year, but it is true as you said that we also need to see how the market conditions and behavior will be after the halving or before the halving like now. And currently the price decline that has occurred in Bitcoin is only a little from the highest price this year.
This cycle tends to be very different from other previous cycles we have had, we never had Bitcoin break its ATH before the Halving, and currently we the price consolidating within that range, which looks good, I kind figure out this is being the growing institutional interest due Bitcoin ETFs ,I'm much optimistic about the Bitcoin price smashing the 100k price rang at the end of 2024.
We have never seen the current market cycle because never before has bitcoin been able to reach a new ATH record before the halving, the bull market has reached the limit of expectations of all the predictors here because everyone did not realize that the price of $70k could be reached easily before the halving, so based on the current market scheme then I predicts the market price will close at $100k by the end of the year.

Current price action looks good, currently hovering just under ATH from 2021. The block reward halving is in under two weeks, things are looking bullish. I am going to confidently predict the price will be over 90,000 USD but maybe under 100,000 USD possibly because of the psychological thing there. The blow off top & peak will be at some time during 2025.

Some investors will continue to accumulate when market conditions are sideway like this - others will just wait for the next reaction before investing. Many investors will be cautious ahead of the halving - this is due to their belief in the possibility of FUD that could cause prices to correct further immediately after the halving. But this is not the right thread to discuss it.

OP - you know, it's always difficult to predict the price of bitcoin. We never know what the price of bitcoin will be at the end of the year - but you can predict it by analyzing prices and the behavior of traders and investors in the market. Halving could increase demand - that's because of FOMO, while prices can never be predicted with certainty even though there is a possibility of $100K by the end of 2024.

There’s a lot if things to consider in order for you to have that kind of educated guess, like the Halving, the after effect of ETF approval and also the economic status and presidential result in other countries. To be safe, I’m place my prediction in the price of $70k, not too high and not too low from the peak which for me is more realistic. I’m still bullish though and hope for a better result, but then again there’s no guarantee for this.

Your educated guess on BTC price at the end of 2024

I would consider $100k at the end of 2024 or early in 2025 first quarter, simply because bitcoin have already reached $70k+ and broke the ATH just before the actual bitcoin halving takes place. So, there is a huge potential for bitcoin to hit the 6 digit figure.
Also, a lot of investors are very optimistic for that figure for bitcoin to achieve this year in the post halving, just like every bullrun from the last 3 halvings.

If bitcoin wont hit 6 digit figure, at least it will reach near that, maybe around $90k.

My guess is also within the $80,000 range. It might be around $85,000. By the end of the year, it's already around 8 months after the halving. So I believe that's already a point when the effect of the reduced block reward is felt. The effect of the halving is gradual. That's why the ATH that usually follows after the halving will take at least a year. Since it is already 8 months after, the price must have already absorbed the halving. This will probably approach $100,000 in the first quarter of 2025, although it could also happen early, meaning within 2024 itself.

With such speculated price, people should think on how to invest in this market or how to accumulate more as the price is going to 65k level. That's a very good profit if in case, it will go up to 85k range. However, do make sure that you know your financial limits when it comes to holding as you'll never know what's gonna happen next on this very volatile market.
that 65k is still the price of bitcoin up to now and still no plans of growing more ATM .

by chance that in 15 days we will be having that halving here? if the price do not spike at 80k
after halving then I believe that we will not see that in the whole year.

Although it is possible, I am not expecting a spike towards $80,000. I am not expecting that it would be sudden and quick. I am expecting that it is gradual. And since the halving is happening within this month, there would still be 8 months left within the year. I don't believe that the price won't be able to reach $80,000 within those months however gradual the rise would be.

Don't mind too much the price right now. I think this is just a rest, a calm before the storm if you want. This is just a pause between growths. As we speak, the price has already climbed back to above $68,000.

Just to be fair, we have reach $73k as our new all time high, and fast approaching the halving, we might be at $66k-$67k, but at the end of 2024, there could be a huge jump in prices. I remember the last bull run wherein after months of the halving, we goes to $50k.

And then the next year we achieved $69k, so that might be the case here, we might see a huge spike at the last quarter of the year, $80k could be the median and then 2025, there will be a parabolic rise and we will finally see $100k at least.

That's too far to make a guess on. Bitcoin has already set a new all-time high earlier last month, and it's all set to break that record once there is a bit more buying pressure in the market and that is likely to happen once we go across the halving event occurring on the 19th of this month.

So, you can only expect Bitcoin to go as high as $88k by the end of 2024 if you think it isn't going to gain much momentum after the halving and we won't be able to see much growth afterward, because based on what has happened so far, Bitcoin should easily be able to set a target for the next cycle above $100k. It's pretty stagnant at around $70k at the moment, a bit of more pressure and it will break through and set a new all-time high once again before the halving.

I keep changing mine, but I think 100k seems like a perfect place to start a new year, so I am going to stick with that one. I get that it may not be all that profitable or great to many people, but I feel like that is going to end up being better. This should be something that will take a while, and shouldn't be worrisome to many people but we should consider that as something that will take time.

I personally believe that if we could go beyond this halving period, there will be a silent period for a while, and nearing the end of the year, we are going to end up with 100k, or at least a bit of increase that is slowly taking us there. Should not be something that will take a lot of time neither, we could go up very quickly.

My prediction center on  sighting the upcoming  halving and the bull run I will say $100k-150k, it can still go beyond or below but don't want to speculate above this while holding and buying now, that's is the code for 2024 though is my speculation.

I can't have this kind of OP focast it may turn out to be poor speculation at the end.  The investor can still move the market depends how they work together but it's not possible they will all works together for what favor you at the point of move may be loss to another but I am still confidence that $100k-150k can be easily achievable this year 2024

With spot ETFs that have already bought more than 500 000 BTC and with the halving effect, I don't think it's too optimistic to speculate on at least $100 000 by the end of the year. Everyone has the right to their opinion, but I don't see any good reason (so far) in favor of the fact that by the end of this year the price will be only slightly higher than it is now.

A 50% price increase compared to the current price is quite possible if we don't have a black swan event, but given the crazy world we live in, anything is possible.

On what basis do you confirm that if bitcoin does not reach the $80k before and after the halving, we will not see it until the end of the year? Do you have any proof or are you just making a baseless guess? If it is an unfounded prediction then never be sure of anything and don't forget bitcoin is very unpredictable. Like bitcoin broke its ATH before the halving, did you have any predictions about that or were you also surprised at what bitcoin did? I think you're too pessimistic about bitcoin.

The Bitcoin market remains highly unpredictable but we can still make general predictions. Although we don't have any assurance that the price would reach $85,000 for example, we can be confident that it will come. And if that comes, Bitcoin's $65,000 right now is indeed a low price to enter.

Especially now that is a halving year, we have reason to believe that the price would rise months following the halving. I'm confident that the pre-halving ATH at $73,000 which was reached just weeks ago isn't the ATH all throughout the year. There will be another one this year.

Bitcoin can still surprise us with unexpected price skyrocketing, but at the same time it can also give us a price that will frustrate us. That’s how unpredictable bitcoin is, that it’s actually hard for us to tell as to how far this  price will reach by the end of the year.

However, I will stick to a maximum of $100k. It can be impossible for some, but for people like who is highly enthusiastic, I believe bitcoin can definitely do it.

Don't try to predict Bitcoin's peak and sell it afterward. Instead, have an investment plan that you're sure of and stick with it. Being too greedy can lead to missing out on high-priced sales opportunities that could potentially make a profit.

Relying too much on other people's opinions is a good thing, but it tends to leave you confused and indecisive. The reality is that no one can accurately predict the future price of Bitcoin. It's better to trust your own research

My predictions would had been $70,000 before the surprise that Bitcoin pulled by passing the previous highest Bitcoin price before the halving happened therefore my prediction for the end of 2024 would be $100,000. If Bitcoin hasn't done what it did there won't be so much bullishness in the market but because of how promising Bitcoin is showing we should be expecting something big by the end of the year. Bitcoin price after the halving is going to be surprising to many individuals because they won't believe how high it's going to be. This bull market isn't going to be like other bull market because institutional investors are fully invested into the market. They're going to pump the market so big so they can also make profits.

I think it depends on who will win the election. If trump wins then for sure it’ll be like $80K or something, especially since he is pro Bitcoin now. He has to be since he made all those millions by selling those Trump card NFTs.

And more importantly the stock market will pump if he wins. Usually his policies are bullish for the markets. If Biden wins then who knows what will happen. However when stocks go up, so will crypto since they are correlated together.

I used to believe that Bitcoin may hardly touch $85k or more by the end of 2024, but now my beliefs are changed because I can see huge potential in the price of Bitcoin.

I believe that by the end of 2024, Bitcoin will be over $100k per coin. I'm sure that $100k is a good value but it can even cross that value if it gets more intensity.

In laymen terms, Bitcoin can reach and cross $90k value before November 2024, and in November-December it could potentially reach and cross $100k value.

Being optimistic with the bitcoin price is still a good thing. If you think it would certainly rise into $80k above, then if bitcoin will gain more positive updates within the next 8 months, then most likely we will still witness a higher price than that, which makes it more possible with $100k.

I’m actually not totally optimistic with how bitcoin price will go through this year, but still unexpected things will still happen when we least expect them. It could be bitcoin price skyrocketing, or the massive price decline that’s beyond our control. So let’s just wait and see.

At the end of the day it’s just a guess. No matter how much study and research you do to make the guess, it’s impossible to predict accurately. I have been following bitcoins from many years. I have seen Bitcoins follow a 4 year cycle to reach ATH price. Now as the ATH price is achieved, hence some correction in the price is expected. Hence, I am assuming Bitcoins will lie in 65k usd range at the end of this beautiful year.
Just like what you said, in the end it will just be a guess, no matter what kind of analysis it will not prove its accuracy, because we will not know what the future will be like, the $65k figure you said is also just an assumption that you rounded up the calculation, right? and even that is not necessarily accurate because of the volatile nature of the price of bitcoin.
So there is no need to criticize other people's opinions if you do the same thing as what he did, everyone has the right to say whatever is on his mind and express it, right?

This is the good thing on this market. Everyone can speculate and act on what they think is of advantage to him. Even long-time holders or self-proclaimed experts are just predicting on what may possibly happen next. So if you think you have the upper hand, then decide on what to do with your portfolio. Because no one will do it for you.

100k. Still more than half a year and I expect to see more positive impact on the market by the latter end, so 100k isn't that out of the picture imo. Well even if it didn't reach such an amount by then, I reckon it'd be somewhere close. Maybe at least 90k? I guess if we don't see 80k by say, October, then I'd safely assume that 100k might not be reachable. Either way I'm mostly in profit anyway, so at this point anything goes for me.

Well with all that aside it's all just predictions anyway, educated or not there's still a chance of it (or not) happening, so best not to expect much imo.
The possibility that it will increase before the halving period will not occur is certain because the trend is not visible. Perhaps at the start of the halving there will be a correction which will determine the next movement to be able to determine. If the correction is high enough, then it is certain that there will be a significant increase in the renewable ATH in 2025 .But by the end of 2024, I think it is reasonable to achieve the long-desired $100K before it forms a renewable ATH.
I agree with you, it's all just a prediction and, of course, it's hard to determine precisely. It's okay to hope, but don't make it too much of a reference to what will happen.

88k USA dollar is a good prediction. Now bitcoin is moving around between $66k to $70k and it is before the halving so when the halving finally comes and bitcoin enter the final all time high then it will hit $100k. That is my prediction of bitcoin before the ending of this year. And the All Time High for this season will be $150k. Though everyone has their own prediction in the season but that is my prediction on it.

After the all time high of this season then it will still go back the the dip and the second quarter of 2025.
Will we still have bull and bear cycles like the previous ones? Things are becoming unpredictable and without any of the patterns we have seen in previous cycles. Bitcoin broke its ATH before the halving, bitcoin has gone a lot higher while many altcoins haven't even gone up yet, newbies haven't entered the market too much when bitcoin broke its ATH...What I see is that things are becoming very different and no one knows what will happen next.

I do not rule out the possibility that the bitcoin market will behave like the stock market and will increase and decrease alternately. There will no longer be a cycle of crazy price increases x3, x5 times and then a decline of up to 70%-80% like previous cycles.

There are still eight months left in 2024. Every month that passes, there may be a spike or decline caused by an event that affects market activity.

Whatever the price, it can still happen every month after month that will pass this year.
Nothing is impossible when the time comes.

What is your educated guess relating to the end of year BTC price?
Based on what will happen soon(halving season) in April, which is the second quarter of the year and what the history of bitcoin halving has made us to believe that after the halving season, in months time bitcoin skyrockets in price than expected. However, making an assumption from that, I can clearly state that bitcoin can reach at a price above $100k before the end of year since there are many months(7 months) Bitcoin can go in price after the halving season.

What is your educated guess relating to the end of year BTC price?
Last Bitcoin halving event in 2020, Bitcoin's price was at below $10,000 before the halving event happened, and at the end of that year, Bitcoin's price ended at around ~$28,000.
I'm not saying that it will happen again this time, but just basing on history the year where the halving event happens is usually a great year because price of Bitcoin tends to go up.

I believe that the price of Bitcoin at the day of the Bitcoin halving event will be at around $65,000-$70,000, and I expect Bitcoin to be above $100,000 by the end of the year. Kind of optimistic prediction yes, but with how optimistic other investors are, I think that there's a chance that it might reach 6-digit at least at the end of the year.

Well, like what others said, it's only a prediction, but I just hope that you will secure your profits during the bull run, and let's end it with huge profits before the bear market happens again. Smiley

I'm not really sure if major improvements will occur before next year. but for the end of the year maybe Bitcoin can again make a gradual pump to $75k-85k.
another situation might see Bitcoin stabilize at $70k. I know some people have high hopes for the halving that will happen soon. but this may not match our expectations when the price will not pump up quickly.
Speculating Bitcoin price is a hard job to do and for that we may be wrong in any of our predictions to that point I think I will say that we may have a long period of corrections and to that effects Bitcoin will make some mid and weak price uptrends just like what we have right now, where Bitcoin have radiated around 71,000 + and between 66k to 68k range corrections to play along the lines.

Many times we stand to fail in our predictions and analysis of the true outcome of the price of Bitcoin in the long term, and making other extra efforts to remain in the Middle of things untill we achieve the end of the year 2024, but definitely we have seen the bull run already.

My guess is more than that. I think bitcoin will end at its price around $75k to $80k but I’m still hopeful that it might somehow achieve $100k. However, if bitcoin will face some negative news in the market after bull run, then the possibility to drop again its price is really high. But whatever it is, bitcoin will still move on its own way and will progress gradually on its own.

Predicting is never hard but making an educated guess or let’s say an almost correct prediction is never easy at all. In fact, no one can predict the price of bitcoin correctly since all we have right now are just pure speculations and predictions.

My personal assumption is 70K GBP (88K USD / 82K EURO), I may be pessimistic with my assumption but the risk management side of myself sees this as achievable.

In all honesty i'm unsure on the talk surrounding 79K GBP (100K USD / 92K EURO)

If we can be having up to $73,000 before the halving, this means that we can achieve the remaining little gap to close up to $80,000 before the halving within the early days of this month of April, while waiting to achieve up to $100,000 before the end of the year, this is my own assumption and how i see the bitcoin market going, while b next year, we are likely to go high to the extent of having $150,000 or more, many would have given their own prediction regarding this, but we also have to consider the past and the present market speculation and see if all we have said are possible or not at each stipulated time to achieve.

Despite how encouraging the price of Bitcoin is at this time, it doesn't make to actually know the exact price bitcoin at the end of this year, bitcoin is a volatile asset, the price is unpredictable no matter how speculative the market may be, it can never be predictable, yes we are encouraged by the upward movement of this digital asset and we are still waiting some event to take place but all this things cannot guarantee an accurate price of bitcoin this year, the encouraging price of bitcoin has made it almost impossible for some bitcoiners that does not understand the system to think that it will continue to flourish in the without price but they have forgotten that there is bearish market which is inevitable, so for me I can't tell the price in which Bitcoin will close at this year.

Somewhere playing in between $70k-$80k. At least that's a very safe prediction for the price of Bitcoin for this year.

For this year, that can be 50/50. But if we'd be basing to the pattern in the past then it's possible, could be this year or by 2025.

obvious that the price of Bitcoin cannot be determined by assumption that is why many people today who predict the price of Bitcoin some of them got it wrong because the price of Bitcoin is not constant since I've known what is BTC the price of always fluctuates and you come predict the particular price ratio now it happened that bitcoin might fall beyond that you are expectation or prediction, so rising of Bitcoin and the falling of Bitcoin is not measurable and you cannot depend on it as a crypto investor to purchase a Bitcoin you can go into your investment of Bitcoin through what you see and also what you understand through the chat on Bitcoin.

I agree that the thread should be moved to Speculation.
The price literally on December 31 is unpredictable. The bull market hit early this year, so maybe we'll be back to the bear market by the end of 2024, and the price can easily be around $60k, for example. A more interesting question to me is the ATH of 2024, whenever it happens. I think we can expect $100k, maybe $120k. It's a modest increase actually, below 2x from the previous ATH. But since the market is already so big, it's a very significant addition to market capitalization anyway.
your pond is exactly my scenario because bitcoin price is not measurable and is your unpredictable for now to conclude what the price of Bitcoin will reach or be before the ending of the year or by the ending of the year, anything we are saying concerning that is a speculation and the also a prediction that can fail tomorrow because it is obvious that price of Bitcoin mighty go below the current price of Bitcoin so therefore we have to not have an exact prediction of Bitcoin because the price interchanges... for the aspect of the board I believe that speculation is the well suited for this thread to be discussed.

I will be waiting for this post in the Speculation board where it belong but for my input, I don't think we still have to doubt if $100k is achievable before the end of 2024 because it is just around the corner. Sincerely, I am looking at Bitcoin price beyond $100k already with targets at $150k which is understandable and achievable. The combined effect of the halving and the ETF is just enough to make it come through.
two things are involved in this prediction nobody believe that the price of Bitcoin might fall when the price was going up, but but it later decreases to the extent that some people who is a newcomer in cryptocurrency especially Bitcoin was bias and feel disappointed when the price drop from seventy three thousand to fifty something thousand  [73k/55k there about] so it may be that the price will it decrease and they will not get to our expectation price we think that the price of Bitcoin will be by the end of this year.

At the end of the day it’s just a guess. No matter how much study and research you do to make the guess, it’s impossible to predict accurately. I have been following bitcoins from many years. there is every possibility that the price of Bitcoin might the end up with the such price you said, like exactly sixty-five thousand [65k] before the ending or by the ending of the year, but the thing is that the price of bitcoin is unpredictable and I believe that its the market and investors that sometimes influence the price of bitcoin...some people will because of the green colouration of bitcoin in the market and hope that the price will continue to increase.

My prediction is also $100k by the end of the year but that is not the highest price of bitcoin this bull season. I believe we will have higher prices by 2025 and maybe bitcoin will reach $190k-200k$ when the bull season ends. But you need to remember that a prediction is just a prediction and it may or may not happen, so monitor the market daily to be able to change and make more appropriate decisions. Bitcoin is a long-term investment, you should aim further than just setting a goal for this year and selling it all.

I can see 120k-150k usd being hit by bitcoin but it might not happen this year (although, I will be very happy to be corrected  Wink )

There is a huge chance that bitcoin reaches 100k usd this year and with how the price is moving it is almost a sure thing to happen. However with bitcoin’s volatility, we can still expect some unexpected. Maybe we can close this year at 95k to 110k usd.

Don't try to predict what the highest bitcoin price will be and don't be too greedy when we want to sell at the highest price. I mean if you already have your predictions and investment plans, you just need to follow what you set out to do, don't listen to others too much. That's not entirely bad, but I think if we consult too much with others' opinions, we will be swayed and easily change our plans. Meanwhile, there is no guarantee that everyone's prediction is correct, so stick to the goal you set and stick to it, and you will be successful with your investment.

When Bitcoin reaches $100k, I know there will be increased sell pressure from people who might have been afraid that it has peaked and will not want to lose the profits they have made so far. Those who bought pre-ETF will be the major proponents of this idea but if they see that price has continued to rise with momentum above $100k, many of them will have a change of mind.

So, my guess is that Bitcoin is going to $150k. This will be the feasible destination when the $100k target is reached. However, these are just predictions which can either happen or not. It is therefore necessary to set targets that we will be comfortable to work with.

What is your educated guess relating to the end of year BTC price?

The end of the year is still many months away, and bitcoin is famous for its crazy ups and downs. Now, the talk of 79k GBP (100k USD) - that's definitely on the optimistic side, but not impossible! Historically, we usually have a cyclical bull run about every four years, which occurs in the months after each halving and peaks in the year after the halving. If I had to speculate, I expect that by the end of the year we could trend towards (or  potentially reach) the $100k mark, especially if this bull run continues as predicted.  But of course, nothing is guaranteed. External factors can always disrupt the market.

Lots of unexpected things have happened this year regarding bitcoin’s price. No one expected for bitcoin to reach a new ath just right before halving so now it’s harder to predict closer to accuracy but I would bet it would be around 88k USD to 93k USD as well.

I have no doubts that bitcoin will at least touch that mark but it will most likely go down just after. Maybe after halving or around september-november we can see such price movement.

The proper place to discuss this is the speculation board, I see you are new, so I will give you a link to it so you see similar discussion about people’s speculations on what the value of bitcoins will become.

Also, there is no level of educated guess that can give an accurate prediction on the value of bitcoins by the years end, no one knows and any figure given is just a mere prediction.
