Bitcoin- in bullish time
Every trader has a favorite way to keep track of his/her own portfolio, and a best way to follow, analyze and interact with real time prices and statistics of Bitcoin and altcoins.

Whereas, some prefer complex visualization and control platforms such as Coinigy, others just play simple with cryptocompare and coinmarketcap tools, to keep their digital portfolio and trades under control.

On the other hand some prefer Poloniex and Bittrex, while others go to decentralized exchanges like Openledger and Bitshares.

What is favorite route and daily trading tool for Bitcoin and altcoins, where do you keep track of your digital asset portfolio, what do you recommend?

According to me the Best Website for Bitcoin Trading is LocalBitcoins and best website for Altcoin Trading is Yobit and Poloniex because these websites are Trusted and best for Altcoin Trading and also on yobit there are many users available Everytime on the website to help other users.
Also I Use preev for checking the price of bitcoin and I also use coinmarketcap for checking the demand and supply of various altcoins.
I use yobit and poloniex also because i think it is good to make bitcoins there especially in yobit because there is a lot of altcoins to choose and it is very easy to make profits because there is a lot of whales there that enables me to earn money by just joining the hype of the whales or manipulators.

Kinda disagree to Yobit with many users available which everytime will help other users. I see no development there and still full of trolls. Plus their main support itself is also not that responsive resulting of lots of complaints about how they are handling concerns. I can't also considered that Yobit is a trusted because of their past issues.

Both Poloniex and Yobit have troll people on their trollbox but in some cases I see Poloniex have better discussion. And about their main support, Im averaging them 7/10 which can considered as above average.

I've been using https://cointracking.info?ref=J652844 for a while now I think it's great. You can import all your history from Poloniex and Bittrex via API and it has many new features.

I prefer to use preev for checking Bitcoin price stats. For altcoin, I use coinmarketcap when I'm in search of new coins to invest in but in terms of monitoring my trades, I directly check the exchange and do it myself manually.

I never heard nor tried other trading tools you've mentioned in your post before mine, to be honest. Maybe because it's unusual for me to check charts.

New trading tools coming:

Cryptoforecast is a trading tool to identify the inversions of trend and ride them from the beginning. Suitable for any markets, time frames and trader characteristics, Cryptoforecast offers a solid and reliable column where you can build your trading strategy. It has been built both for professional and amateur traders that aims at helping users to identify the inversions of trend and ride them from the beginning. BetQuote is a system that will be implemented as sentiment tool next to Cryptoforecast.

BetQuote is primarily focused on providing data to improve the platform quantitative calculation. This data should originate from a system with a certain timestamp, which remains unchanging over time and easily accessible and verifiable by anyone. This way, users who enjoy Cryptoforecast, can enter one or more predictions with a visibility of a specific period. The system records users’ forecast, checks the payment and proceeds to write them on the blockchain.

Starting from April 1st, 2017, and for the whole month, users can try Cryptoforecast demo for free. This is a nice feature because there are only a few ICOs which offer users a preview before the beginning of the ICO itself. Cryptoforecast, in fact, is launching its Initial Coin Offering (ICO) on April 15th for the Cryptoforecast tokens (CFT), an omni asset secured by the Bitcoin blockchain.

There is trouble abrewing
I do monitor portfolio using coinmarketcap to study bitcoin  or altcoin volume . Reddit.com/r/bitcoin  for news and fundamental analysis data. Coindesk  for my technical analysis chart as they are accurate in gotten prevailing bitcoin price using about three to four exchangers  prices index. Lastly I use my experience to control my assets as trading is a very risky venture.

the charts on coinmarketcap are not good at all, they are an average price of many exchanges most of which are giving far off the target price so they ruin the average. try to check the charts directly from an exchange for more accuracy.
the same thing goes for coindesk. that chart is also small and hard to study. again i suggest using an exchange charts directly from their website.
or you can use all of it in tradingview!

I don't have portfolio tool because i don't have a lot of coins to monitor. I just trade a few altcoins every day and i am just using poloniex, yobit and bittrex, that are the sites that i like and that are my favorites because they are very user friendly and they have a lot of coins to choose from and almost all of them has a potential.

Whole my life I've been using Bitstamp and I really like it. It's simple and at some point I had some minor issues which they resolved immediately. Poloniex is also great.  Grin

Somehow Poloniex seems the best one for me, I.trust it the most and have the best experiences. In few occasions I tried to trade elsewhere but at the end I came back to Poloniex and I beleive they have the best features for everything. You should try it.

Exchanges and wallets are good enough for me.  I don't need any unnecessary third parties keeping track of my earnings when I can see it well enough myself.

So basically, Poloniex is probably my best tool for both, or maybe Poloniex and my wallet combined.  When I need stats on Bitcoin overall, Blockchain is pretty good at those.  If I need to find out about my own holdings, it's mostly obvious things that I can see myself anyway.

Nice to hear that you use your own bot, that gathers data and executes your orders.
Can you share more details about it? What kind of bot it is, do you program it yourself?
I imagine it has been working very well for you, so you are sharing your positive experience
here.

Right?

I basically use three things for holding, sending, paying bitcoins.
That is electrum as a wallet on the PC I use very rarely, blockchain for holding smaller sums of bitcoin ( or for fast access to pay somewhere ) and poloniex as a trading site / exchange.
With poloniex I can margin trade on many pairs containing altcoins, or just exchange money to most of the trusted coins.
Poloniex has also very big volume which is something that may give you better rates of converting cryptos.

I need to say that for now, I haven't found even one crypto exchange better than poloniex.
The only thing i dont like in it, is that it is getting lagged sometimes Sad

Excellent traderethereum

I understand what you say since I extensively use the Poloniex Exchange as well. However, as you might have experienced, once you need to track real time prices of more than 30 different altcoins, things might get troublesome especially when you are using more than one digital exchange.

I have found that cryptocompare portfolio tool is one of the best options nowadays for FREE. CryptoCompare is an interactive pioneer platform where you can discuss the latest Crypto trends and monitor all markets streaming in real time, more details below:

https://www.cryptocompare.com/

I have used cryptocompare for some years and they are always improving their products and services including their portfolio; which you can also monitor for profits in FIAT or digital currency.

Great Geronimomo

I understand what you say since I extensively use the BitShares Asset Exchange (BAE) as well. Do you connect yourself using the Bitshares Light Client?

You might be aware that you can become a Bitshares Life Time Member if you wish. In that case, you receive an affiliate
referrer link to share with other people, you get to reduce your BAE transaction fees, make important decisions for the Bitshares
Platform and earn extra income from your referrals.

This is a very nice feature if you are a trader.

actually i don't use portfolio tool and trading platform for bitcoin and altcoins, i think its enough to use poloniex history for my trading and so far, i think its work properly for me. i do this because i see that service like this is not free and we should pay monthly or by subscribe in their service and i don't like this. its better for me to analyze by myself and if i can not analyze then i will find another ways to learn and analyze.

Yep. I use the DEX aka BAE  (BitShares asset exchange) BitShares.org/wallet because I get to hold my own private keys. The charts are good and volume keeps improving. I can trade everything I want to: btc, eth, bts, cny, usd, gold. The fees are silly low. I like the transparency of the exchange.
I can't short Dash or use much leverage but I can short the USD so I'm definitely doing that.
