What was the last encounter you had with a real goat? [...]

I don't think I've ever encountered a goat at close range before. Smiley

But I've probably seen a few here and there, while traveling through more rural areas; nothing particularly memorable about it though. Tongue

Let's play some goat simulator. Smiley

I won't click on that link. I'm afraid of might await me on the pages that'll proceed to open afterwards...

I haven't played that game yet, but the videos I've seen about it were quite amusing. Here's one for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiixpIwToec.

My last close encounter with a goat was also many years ago. I remember them being very greedy trying to climb over the fence, just because they thought I had something delicious in my hand.

But I like their craziness. They are more attractive than cows, too. Grin

What was the last encounter you had with a real goat?

Afaik, it was when I was a very young man and we drove over a mountain, we stopped at a mountain farm and got a close up experience with some live goats. I remember I like it.

What about you, did you ever meet a real goat?

hahah, i know what you all think, but honestly it was like this:

See goats all the time, right before their head is lopped off and I come back and cook. I love mutton curry cooked with lots of spices, you people won't be able to eat it.

Ewww what the heck? Are you a cook? Poor goats! Nah, vegetarian curry is better, anyways!

No, but once a week I go down to the butcher where we get fresh meat. I am single and prefer to do my own cooking.

I've never tried goat I thought it would be t tough and stringy but they are so cute I don't think I would want to try.

Probably 1988 or so

Blew the Goat's doors off at 120MPH on I 95

My 1987 Porsche 928 S4 used to lay rubber from 120MPH to 168MPH

That's where you separate the goats from men

My grandma has many goats, I love goats, cows, sheeps and camels. Literally I love most animals except snake and gators.

I've never seen a snake in the wild and I really want to. I mean, I've seen them in captivity. But I've never seen one just... roaming around looking for food or something in my backyard or something lol. They are very interesting to me.

This is why you are still alive!

If you meet the wrong snake in real life only one of you lives to tell the story!

There is a lot of goats in Europe, all my life I've often seen goats. "Camping farm" (Farm with some fields tuned into camping) , walking in mountains and countryside... So my last encounter with a goat was maybe less than a month during a walk : with friends, we meet a man followed by his goat like if the goat was a dog ^^

Phew... I don't know... Maybe in Crete! They've got a ton of mountains and crazy goats that can climb them and even stand still on the steepest inclines. It's crazy! I don't quite recall if I really got close to any of those goats!

Neutered male goats (wethers) are pretty tame, don't stink and make good companion animals for horses, etc.

At least ours are.

Don't know about nanny goats, but goat's milk is the best.

Too bad it's so expensive!

Go the forest, there are usually many wild snakes there. Wild animals is very beautiful compared to captured ones I don't know why.

I dont remember exactly where the video is but there was one I saw where some dude dressed up in a goat costume and was out in some random field grazing with real goats.  When someone comes to video tape these goats; he just gets up and runs away.

Maybe some people just feel a connection with goats?

I worked with horses at a summer camp (circa 10 years ago), and we also had goats which were under my care.  So I fed them etc, they were not very nice and I didn't care for them.

Lol in what ways were they not nice? I would assume most animals are a little untrusting of a human right up to them.

Goats have the habit of bitting people that get too close. This and the fact they stink is why I keep distance from them.
