I think I followed the stupid faq and guide stuff on making passwords as well as what other people had said to me and on of my oldest friends just went and logged into my games and stuff really easily because she knew me that well LOL I know much better now. The last thing you should ever do is enter real information into a database or passwords it makes it piss easy to hack into, this is why I hate our current systems so much because they don't know anything about security.

my very first password for CompuServe was "wallet"

I was 6 and just got a cool new velcro TMNT wallet so I figured that was a superb password.

Not "wachtwoord"?

Which means password in Dutch.  Grin

Nah, my username was password and my password was username. I later started using the dutch equivalent of the username and improved my password Smiley

Not 100% sure, but it was most likely "bluegreen" or something tough like that.

As a consultant, I came across more than one client system with variations on "password".  Some examples "p@ssw0rd", "p@55w0rd", etc.  These clients included both government and private entities; the passwords were used on data containing financial and personal data including social security numbers, addresses, and account numbers.

I changed them where allowed - and kept a CYA paper trail of my denied requests where I couldn't.

This post by AliceWonder:

Yup, the very first password I ever created when I first got my own internet connection, little did I know it happened to be identical to a part number of a popular ham radio component. I never played with ham radios.

When I was playing around with cracking tools (I think it was jtr) and it was quickly cracked, I was shocked to see it was in the dictionary and when I investigated, the dictionary had been made from an electronic parts catalog.

Granted by today's standards it is way too short even without being in a dictionary (7 alphanumeric characters) but still.

made me remember my first password, a stunning one for its military grade security: "4besos" (translates to "4kisses").

Do you remember the first password you've ever used (and presumably the worst one at the same time)?
