I think for now people should hold more of Bitcoin than Altcoins, most people care more about their tokens which derived their value from BTC itself, I think anyone not holding BTC in their portfolio for now need to think twice, we can see that the price of BTC is the one dragging the whole market down and if the conspiracy theory is true then alot of people will be greatly hurt

I think that your solution first of you must be grounded on a technical analysis of the coins. Cause at this moment a lot of fud on cryptos around and the right thing to go is finding strong support levels and placing postponed buy orders. Technical analysis will become more and more popular during dearest years and its influence on the market behavior will be substantial.

I think March has been one of the dark market days, and should be considered more of a buying or sowing seasons, the time to harvest is way into 2018

in my portfolio there is $200. I would like to invest them in the crypto currency. I want to divide it into parts to enclose fiat money as follows:
10% - NEM (XEM)
10% - Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
10% - Ethereum Classic(ETC)
10% - Hshare (HSR)
10% - Verge (XVG)
10% - DigiByte (DGB)
10% - Expanse (EXP)
10% - GoByte (GBX)
10% - Hush (HUSH)
10% - Rupee (RUP)

do you think, is this a reasonable solution? I will be very grateful for the opinion of experienced crypto-drivers.

I think this topic will be useful not only for me. Wink
You must be kidding...... Seems your purpose is just putting your money somewhere, instead of getting benifits by investing. Your distribution is so equal. You must be a really fair-minded person..... Spreading the risk is good, but that's too much. I think you will feel nothing if one of coin appreciates. Study more and think again what coin is the most protential and increase it's portion.

It does not matter what to invest, in March, strong profits should not be expected. Yes there are green indicators for some coins, but basically in principle there is no complete stabilization of the market. We must wait for the end of spring and early summer.
Your guess is very accurate. The current crypto market is going down without brakes. We can see this as an economic crisis in 2018. I am very surprised about this. Since the crypto market has become so popular, it looks like stocks and forex have been affected a lot.
Anyway, I still believe in bitcoin and altcoins. It will soon recover in the future.

i think, your strategy isn't effective for the following reasons
1. many coins make us confuse to manage
2. many coins mean there are up or down. so no profit/lose

you're better to choose 2 until 3 coins which you're the most sure

I disagree with you. It seems to me that most of these coins can bring good profits. And the presence of such a quantity of coins in the portfolio guarantees a reduction of risks. As for me the author made an excellent choice.

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.

The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

I recently found one project called Ethereum Meta, it is related to anonymity and untraceable transaction. They have a very interesting project to build the Anonymous E-Market Place.

They are on ICO stage right now and already on the exchanges, you can check their website: https://ethermeta.com/
Or even better go through their Bitcointalk thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/future-of-privacy-ethereum-meta-foundation-of-anonymous-e-marketplace-2659058

That is totally true, it is good to have many profitable altcoins as much as you can. Instead of buying only 3-4 altcoins, make it 10 to lessen the profit loss you can encounter. I regret I only divide my capital investment for 5 coins and now all of it are down in price so next time I will set to atleast 10.

indeed I think your choice is very good because you choose coin coins that have great potential. However, if you only intend to invest with $ 200, I think your list is too diverse and try to invest in 3-4 types of coins.

you're right if many coins will avoid the risk of big loss.
that's why i chose 3 coins, bcs i think 3 coins are enough to avoid that risk.
you're better to choose 3 coins which have the best potential to grow

I think you can invest in nem, etc, verge, digibyte, expanse only and for hush, rupee, hshare, I am not following their project so I cannot say too much. and I think you don't have to invest in bitcoin cash and gobyte because the price is too expensive and I think if you cannot add more money, it is better to stay away from that coin.

you've said about GoByte that the price is too high. but ethereum classic also has a high price. What do you think about it? Should I invest in ETC?

yes, for me, gobyte is too expensive to buy and I prefer with etc while the price is cheaper depends on gobyte. but if you want to buy gobyte too, then you need to decide when the time to buy. don't forget to invest in cardano too because the coin can reach the top ten position in the coinmarketcap in short-term.

I do not know what you expect to gain but 200 dollars is not a lot of money, and you are dividing that money among 10 coins you will have a better chance to turn those 200 in more money if you put it all in a single coin, many advice for diversification and that is right but only when you hold a significant amount of assets which is not your case so if I were you will buy the coin with the most potential to grow.
what about ETC?

there is no reason to dispose of old coins and speculate with a bad ICO.

Good coins except for bitcoin cash. Its good to diversify but I the idea are not ok for me because your capital is too small to hold more coins, what I mean is if you put small amount on every coin you might get bore because of small profita. Better for you to put your money inot 2 great coins so you can have greater chance of making good profit.

so, will it be more suitable for me if I put my money into ethereum and nem? or may be ethereum classic and bitcoin cash?

There are more altcoins coming out in the market to look forward to this March 2018, these are cardano, steem, and monaco. In my perspective, the more it balances the economic condition and increases the demand in the global market as it offers more profit for investors and other sectors.

I have also started thinking about cardano.
I think I should add this coin to the list instead of  BCH.

always diversity of portfolio is a good move .However, when your capital is 200$ you can't diversify in 10 coins ! try just 2-3 coins with low marketcap to double your money then consider investing in more coins .
Thank you. Which coins do you think fit your strategy?

Actually this is one of the most advised tactics by known traders in the crypto community, diversifying is one way to distribute your profits and if in case the market is red; you wouldn't have to lose much money. Although your coin selections are not my cup of tea, I would prefer you'd check out coinmarketcap.com and see how much each of those coins are worth, because like Bitcoin Cash I'm not sure if that's one good coin to invest in for long term (that's just me though).

Thank you so much. that's exactly what I did. I watched these coins at coinmarketcap.com.
So, do you think the Bitcoin Cash should be excluded from the list?

in my portfolio there is $200. I would like to invest them in the crypto currency. I want to divide it into parts to enclose fiat money as follows:
10% - NEM (XEM)
10% - Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
10% - Ethereum Classic(ETC)
10% - Hshare (HSR)
10% - Verge (XVG)

I do not know what you expect to gain but 200 dollars is not a lot of money, and you are dividing that money among 10 coins you will have a better chance to turn those 200 in more money if you put it all in a single coin, many advice for diversification and that is right but only when you hold a significant amount of assets which is not your case so if I were you will buy the coin with the most potential to grow.
in my opinion do not put eggs in one basket. it would be better to hold some coins than to buy a coin to hold.
if you only hold one of these coins will be very risky, if the coins you buy do not match the prediction then the capital can not be played back.
it would be better to buy 2 or 3 coins that have enormous potential. this way you will not panic if one of the coins that you hold is not in accordance with your wishes. because we know the crypto market is hard to predict.

Agree with you. What do you think about  NEM, Ethereum Classic, Bitcoin Cash?

Split a low balance into 10 coins is the biggest problem, you will never get maximum profit for holding to much coins. You should choose less than 3 coins with 200$.

Half of the coins from your portfolio in March will most likely not get a boost. This applies to Forks and Hush, Rupee. I do not know by what principle you chose them.
I can explain to you. the principle is as follows. I decided to choose some coins from the top-30. and lesser known coins, but those coins that had vests and falls in price.
by what principle is it worth choosing coins in your opinion? I will be grateful for your strategy (answer)  Smiley

The strategy of diversifying your portfolio in many coins is good and agree with most of these coins.
However, for expensive coin like Bitcoin Cash, $20 is not going to buy much.
I agree with you, buying BCH with $ 20 will not mean anything and will only get a fraction of it. I suggest you should replace BCH with another coin that has other great potential at a lower price.

Thank you. in your opinion they should be kept for a long time?

Good coins except for bitcoin cash. Its good to diversify but I the idea are not ok for me because your capital is too small to hold more coins, what I mean is if you put small amount on every coin you might get bore because of small profita. Better for you to put your money inot 2 great coins so you can have greater chance of making good profit.

I see you have a good list but unfortunately, you need more money to invest in all of the coins lists and you need to know the time to buy. but maybe I can give suggestion to choose the coin.
There are more altcoins coming out in the market to look forward to this March 2018, these are cardano, steem, and monaco. In my perspective, the more it balances the economic condition and increases the demand in the global market as it offers more profit for investors and other sectors.
