They are giving same Txid to many ppl while withdrawal coins
and they wont send it. when you open a ticket they wont reply you at all

I transferred bitcoin from Coinbase to Poloniex, but the coin never got transferred to my account. sent three support tickets and no responds. second time transferred, it got transferred, but after three days all my coins were sold and gone without my permission. my account was hacked from IP: 172.104.112.105 sent two support tickets, no responds.
Currently experiencing the Completed:Error message while trying to withdraw BTC. Not a good sign.
Bad reviews are definitely a clear indication of scam. Maybe those large investors need to experience it before they leave poloniex for good. Polo is now a trash not like a before that it's one of my favorite trading sites.
I don't want to say they are scam but it is better to stay away. There have been a lot of complaints that will discourage you to continue to trading there so if your bitcoins and altcoins are very precious to you then decide for what is best.
I started my cryptocurrency trading journey in Poloniex and thankfully, all my transactions are executed and my withdrawals all went through. However, there is one time that I wasn't able to access my account because upon logging in, it is said that my IP is being banned. I don't know the reason of it and then when I tried to log in the day after, I am able to log in. Maybe there is some glitch in their system or whatnot. There are some withdrawal issues as well that I read in the forum and news and because of it, I decided to transfer to another exchange. I can observe that the platform has still a large trading volume so I think many do still trust the site.
I personally have had Poloniex recommended to me by veterans in crypto trading. I have tested it myself and I have my conviction in me.

I hope I never need to call support. I had some Counterparty that was stuck pending withdrawal for a few days but it did eventually go through. I'm seeing a ton of people lately though that are waiting months to hear back. I would avoid them, at least for now, as it seems they really couldn't keep up with the industry growth.

I submitted it and they responded quickly saying I had to add my date of birth to the paper.... but they gave me no way of updating the file.
This site is absolute dog shit, I'm in talks with acquaintances about suing them. The sooner they fuck off, the better.

Withdrawals are working now - guess they are just slow to react to the influx of new users.
Polo have issues with ETH in general for past few month and they still didnt resolve the problem. Cuz of this dont mean that they are scam just that they have huge problem but many users here have problems with ETH deposit and withdrawal and that is something that cannot be allowed for such big exchange as Poloniex. They have to resolve problem as soon as possible cuz many will leave then cuz of his and they wont be so trustworthy at all.
From what I understand, all the big exchanges have had a huge influx of new traders join in the past ~6 months or so. I'm sure they're struggling to keep up with the technology behind it all. That being said, it's not a very good excuse to have long ticket times and slow withdrawals.
I bought 60ETH in april on poloniex, then tried to move them offsite at which point I was hit with a "multiple profiles" error which cancels your ability to move any coins off the website. Having only one account, I created a support ticket and after two weeks of no response, I asked for the support ticket to be "escalated" in the trollbox that was active as a chat. After logging in again, the profile error was gone, so I closed the ticket and attempted to again transfer some coins out. It was not until june that I created another ticket, due to multiple coin withdrawal failures.
That ticket is still being processing with no response as of today.
I am not holding my breath. I think it definitely is a scam website. My initial reaction when the first withdrawal was cancelled was "scam" but I gave it the benefit of the doubt.

My withdrawals have been approved and there is no issue with multiple profiles as an error anymore.
I feel stupid for calling it a scam, had I waited a little bit longer, my problems would have been addressed. But I guess that's what happens when you leave people to wait for months before responding to support questions.
I have been able to make multiple withdrawals now, so I am calmed and now content to call them "slow" rather than a scam.

This exchange is fucking riddled with bugs. Wanna know why it's so laggy? Cause it's written in PHP, and not the best engineered code I suspect. I really expect a security hole to be found one of these days, all coins emptied out leaving the exchange bankrupt. Just my 2c..
Poloniex.com is definitely is now scamming new customers. For test pupose I deposited 1 ETC and I never received it. I opened a support ticket and they never replied. This problem is being faced by almost all the new customers. I don't know about old accounts may be they are working but there new accounts are broken and their support is zero.
In most exchanges your coins are not actually in your generated adress. If you look at blockchain info for polo for example, imediatly after the transaction is confirmed the funds are mooved to other adress. Don´t really now if it is cold storage or they are simply moving that BTC to a user withdrawal. So the time it takes is them moving your founds around i think.
i would like someone to explane me why when we send bitcoin to an exchange it use to always take long time, for me , average 2 hours i would say, but always transaction mark as cleared like 5 min after , if the transaction is confirmed 5 min after why isnt it available right away ?

Poloniex is a legit exchange site but I'm not advocating you to use it now because poloniex is having problems like you have see about bad feedback about poloniex here. I would advise you to use other exchange sites, maybe bittrex is good and safe to use nowadays, but you should pay attention to bitcoin deposits because BIP91 is starting now.I plan to invest higher amount but i wonder if POLONIEX.com is legit website or just a scammer site?

well, as I said in my previous posts... this is happening when "you" are using fishy exchangers(without financial license). Poloniex and many others like them, are just "websites" with nothing behind. they can disappear overnight, they have no insurance, nothing...

They are legit, ok they have problems but they will overcome this. Think that they have security problems but think they will fix this soon. After all they are one of biggest exchanges.
Just because they have current issues doesn't mean that they are bad. Remember all that when they were hacked owner return funds to all users don't forget that.

Poloniex used to be one of the leading exchanges however now it is unclear as to whether they are just having technical difficulties or are going scam. My bet is on the second option because they have disabled trollbox, said that the trollbox moderators will become support crew so that tickets can get answered, but tickets are still not answered.
Don't use it if you can't afford to lose your money. Bittrex is having 50k daily in volume very consistently as well, and they don't have any sort of problem with deposits and withdrawals. So use them instead.
I heard that Bittrex security is not very good, and that it is not safe to keep your coins there. No one is expecting a scam, but they say the site could be easily hacked. As for poloniex I still don't have any issues with them. I saw that the trollbox has been disabled, and I will try to withdraw some coins again, and see how it goes.
I don't have any problems regard to Poloniex, I had used it for a year and never got any issue, sometimes the confirmation is kind of slow but it is still normal, I have heard so many negative reputation for Poloniex but Poloniex still number one exchanger, the transaction that happened in that sites is very large, bigger than other exchanger

I have been waiting about a month to get my account verification confirmed. I have sent a few emails to them and have not heard one word back. You would think with the amount of transactions happening on the site they would be able to hire more support on.
Check your spam folder, otherwise i can't really help you with that matter. But you can maybe try to register using your other email etc.

I think poniex is not scam because they started many years ago and as of now their service is good . I dont experienced any trouble in this site and my bitcoins and altcoin is safe to that safe. Poloniex is one of best trading platform as of now. And this trading site become popular to the traders and And they have new traders register everyday because of good service.
It is a legit trading site for me they are just making sure you are the owner of the acccount thats why its difficult to withraw your money. I like poloniex because of its good reviews regardless the bad reviews. You can try yourself to see if its good or bad.

This is not normal, you have malware. I would be very careful and do a re-install.
I saw that site when my friend gave us a warning on what is the polo phising site looks like and what is real. You can actually tell easily since the URL is different and theirs no security planted on it but their are several people has been caught by this so we should be carefull since and just reach the polo via url typing and do not search it on google since you gotta find the phising site result for your surfing on it.
Poloniex has good credibility, if compare with other Exchanger Polo score above average. Polo is the biggest Exchanger now. But there's always a risk any where place we put investment.
Yep, despite the threads on this forum that will complain and tell you otherwise, they're not a scam. They are a legitimate exchange that functions pretty well. I have an account there, but I don't do a lot of altcoin trading and thus haven't used them in a while. But the times I have used them they've been good. OP, you're right to question this and you should question everything you read and discover in crypto, because things aren't always what they seem to be and there have been (as you no doubt know) several exchanges that have turned out to be scams. So be careful.

I am using them, and I never had any problems with it. I already made a few deposits and withdrawals and everything went fine so far. All their services seem reliable as well. My only concern right now, is the lag that they sometimes have. I can't really do margin trading with them, but lending and using the normal exchange works fine. I would say they are reliable.

Poloniex.com is a legit and a trusted site and it has one of the best trading platform. I have been trading with poloniex since last year and I have make deposit. Trade and withdraw my coins several times. They have very nice customers services and you investment is saved.
Poloniex is not the best exchange but it is the most widely used one. Their service is terrible but seems to be due to them having too much success. T

I'm not sure where you're reading all these bad reviews but I've been using polo for most of my trades and I can attest that it is a legitimate trading site. It's been there for quite some time now and I haven't had any issues with withdrawals and deposits yet. Certainly better than other trading platforms like yobit and i would definitely recommend this to people who wants to start trading

How can you say its scam? Knowing poloniex is one of the most reputable and famous exchange site,it might have facing issues as of now but they are not scamming any people here. Don't believe on those fuds which gives negative impressions on poloniex.If you are in doubt then better to seek out more information and feedbacks about polo and you will see what I mean. If i become you then i will now choose bittrex. Poloniex is experiencing some problems. Many users are experiencing problems and no follow-up from the polo admin. My suggestion is do not use poloniex for some time now until all the problems have been repaired.
it's a well regarded exchange but you are probably best served if you move your coins to your own wallets right after buying on any exchange. you never know when corporate fraud, mismanagement etc may lose you your money on an exchange

I am fully verified with 25.000 USD withdrawal limit per day but I have way way more on my account there and have been asking them to be enhanced verified for three months. They just ignore my ticket.

Poloniex is a good site. There are many users that use poloniex and i also use that. The Deposit is good and the withdrawal is smooth and fast and you will received that in your wallet in a minutes but only Invest what you can afford to lose.

The site is smooth, trades are instant and deposits will show up on your wallet after one confirmation. I thought I had a problem once when my withdrawal, when it took around 10 min to reach my wallet, but that was just the only minor issue I faced.

No, in my opinion the current polo is already indicated a scam. Many users are complaining because they can not withdraw and transfer altcoin. This is very worrying because I think the sytem of polo is not possible to make mistakes. The greatest chance is this is intentional, everyone has started talking and we should as soon as possible move the funds we keep in polo to another exchange / wallet.

No matter what exchange you use you still have a risk using it. You need to trust the exchange not to run away with your funds (yes, this happened in the past). Polo is an exchange with highest volume, I have used it in the past few times everything was okay, I even know that they had security breach in the past but they successfully returned the funds to it's owners. They tend to have "DDOS" sometimes and that can unable you to cancel your buy/sell orders so somebody else can fill them this is the thing I don't like about them.
Other exchanges that might interest you are something like : bitterex and cryptopia these have more coins to trade with.

Polo is definitely not scam. How can you write this - full member. The best is diversify join to another exchanges for example Bittrex.
Poloniex has good credibility, if compare with other Exchanger Polo score above average. Polo is the biggest Exchanger now. But there's always a risk any where place we put investment.
Poloniex is definitely not a scam it has been around for quite some time. However it's never a good idea to have loads of bitcoin on a single exchange. It's always better to deposit make a trade and get out if you're using multiple bitcoins in the process. Better safe than sorry.

When you too have the same negativity in mind in higher percentage sure you too keep thinking about the negative reviews. I plan to invest higher amount but i wonder if POLONIEX.com is legit website or just a scammer site?
I read lot of BAD reviews regarding with the withdrawals and all of them are screaming they are scammers frozen their accounts and others are saying they don't get their BTC.
Is there anyone here who has experiences with the said website or could anyone can recommend a legit platform so i can do some research?
