Your Speculations are not wrong!! If you use this simple formula. Let say that every human lives for 30 years based on the environment, condition of health, therefor every cryptocurrency which is listed and trading on binance will get the total marketcaps of $30 billion sooner or later whenever the blockchain will grow. This is a flat calculation which every trader should do. It is not advised that you keep the coins and never sell it but you should buy whenever a dump executes either by whales or either by market conditions. So it is how you can calculate the correct prediction for a token/coin that how much possibilities and what should be the maximum price of that token sooner or later under total supply and $30 billion of marketcaps. It is not necessary that that token price will remain stable because funds from a token/coins are moved to another token/coins usually so whenever you see the price of a token is hitting its maximum by keeping $30 billion marketcaps in mind along with the total supply (because upon total supply you can calculate the maximum price of each coin/token) then you should sell that crypto and keep the profit, on the other hand, you should not keep that token to hold for the next pump.
