To me, I think this list isn't complete if Solana isn't there. I see it as one of my favorites altcoin. Recently Sol is doing well and I believe it will do more in the next bull run.

According with my portfolio have three top altcoin of 2023 from Ethereum, Binance and Litecoin, for the last coins seems slowly progress raise up to higher price but success break out the new highest price with Ethereuem and Binance or BNB coins. I hold Ethereum since price under $1,500 and right now break out more than $3430 and most fantastic with profitable earned keep holding Ethereuem assets. The second top altcoin holding in my portfolio is BNB since dropping under $250 hold it and stake for earning launchpool coins in Binance, not earned much profitable with many launchpool participated then BNB price move up drastically until raising above $410.
You can hold top altcoins such as Ethereum or BNB, make daily or monthly accumulate for both coins because have potential to raise new highest price before halving time.

     Maybe my top 3 are Matic, Tao, and Pepe Coin. But if there are other altcoins, I have many more choices; that's why you only asked for three.

My top 2 altcoins of 2023 are BNB, ADA, and XRP. Those are the coins that I am gonna invest again and again. The first time I started to invested in some coins, I would say XRP is one of the coins that gave me a good return followed by ADA. When I stopped and get back try to invest again, BNB is the best. I bought a lot using my BNB, though I sell all my BNB but the good thing is I bought a lot of things that fill my room. So if I am gonna invest again I will still choose one of those 3 coins.

but we should also think about placing investments in safer altcoins such as eth, bnb, and also matic, and others of course with a greater level of risk, we can reduce the amount of capital, so that if something bad happens it doesn't disrupt security stability. our capital. These are some top project in the market that can be considered safe to invest even in a bear market. The most rewardable ones were those low cap project that were building in the whole bear market. These project saw massive rally when the market starting to recover. Some of the ptoject like AKT, OCEAN are some example of such a project.

1. ETH
ETH is at the top because ETH has been my favorite altcoin since 2017. and most of my altcoin portfolio is also filled with ETH.
2. BNB
I like BNB because BNB is supported by the largest exchange, namely Binance.
3. APTOS
I like this altcoin because this altcoin is an altcoin that stands on its own network. I think Aptos will be a successful L1 in the future.

Last year i only bet on altcoins which i consider more or less safe more precisely eth, bnb and matic as well as obviously btc i believe that this year too i will continue the same strategy

I guess BNB and Ethereum will be in the top 2 list of all forum members apart from Bitcoin. Lately, I have seen Solana doing all the right things to get into the list of those who are looking to get a good profit. In the last 24 hours, I am seeing a sudden push in the price of a few meme coins. Looks like they have started trending once again and if anyone wants to get a good profit then this is the right time to exit those coins.

So far, we have not been able to take a position as a top altcoin, let alone choose one altcoin to keep in our portfolio, the market is no longer stable like the previous year, all altcoins are very worrying.
Recently, many new altcoins have emerged that have convincing algorithms as the price of bitcoin rises, so to take my own stance, of course I analyze more of every altcoin movement, both top altcoins and new altcoins, saving one of the altcoins is a good idea while waiting for the halving to occur.

I am happy that you have mentioned part of the good altcoins that we have in the market that can be profitable to investors.
There are other good altcoins I have seen the price shooting up like Floki and others that are having close to 100% increase and it is very surprising to many investors who would have thought that they could remove there money and invest in other altcoins that are shooting up. Holding really pays and that is what we should encourage.

I don't have any favorable project or airdrop during the 2023 market year because am not a fan of alternative coin, though I have been monitoring the movement of ETH and BNB and I noticed that they are better project more any other altcoin for now, it is very important to note that I can't encourage what I don't involve myself, the best thing I can do for anyone if it comes to advise on the coin to invest is to continue advocating for bitcoin to gain more ground.
Other developers has not been serious to engage themselves in a thorough search to come out with a good result that's to tell us that Satoshi Nakamoto take out his time to give the best digital asset that's worthy of investment.

ATOM, SOL, SUI.

I always believe that Layer 1 projects will become better and better over the years. TBH, I only suggested these 3 coins but I don't have any plans on holding them for the long term. I only believe that these 3 coins will benefit that much during the bull run thus, their price will increase even more. After all, I believe that many have the same mindset as mine. Buying altcoins hoping for its price to rise on the bull then they will sell it.

I haven't been in touch with altcoins for quite sometime now. The altcoins that still comes to my mind are BNB, Matic and Ethereum. These three have been existence for a long time now. They do have a good market cap, they are trading way below their ATH. The next bull all the three will explode and will get to a new ATH.

All three coins performance remains bad in 2023. At the start of the month the price of BNB was near 250$ and now 300$ which is not increased much. The same with other two coins , the price is not increased so we say that these three coins top for 2023. In 2023 Avax,Pepe,Bonk and TIA remains very good coins. If anyone invested in these coins he would now enjoy a very crazy profit.

For 2023 I think Starknet token (not launched yet) Arbitrum and ICP could make a history. I think investing in current rate will gives profit in less than year.

Matic and BNB have always been my favorite coins, but XRP is not for me.
Many people (including me) are impressed with what Solana can achieve in 2023, but I only buy Solana for the short term.
For the long term, I prefer Ethereum and Multiverx (EGLD).

First of all Happy new year my dear friend. And you have picked good coins because they have good potential to grow and in the bull season they can give 2x to 10x profit opportunity.
If you ask me I picked I picked ADA Link and ATOM. Bitcoin is my most favourite coin. You asked Altcoins so I have mentioned them. And these Altcoins, I think these will give me good profit when the bull season will come. So I believe in them so I hope will get a good profit return.

ETH, XRP, BNB, MATIC, ADA, LINK, SOL were among the top alt coins in 2023. I haven't invested in altcoins so far but among all the altcoins I like Ethereum the most. Ethereum certainly continues to demonstrate its strength in the cryptocurrency market, with its smart contract functionality and decentralized applications attracting a lot of interest and investment. As we look ahead to 2024, it is clear that Ethereum's potential for growth and innovation is strong. I believe it will continue to be a standout altcoin in the new year.

OMG....there are so many shitcoins coming to market daily that it blows my mind far more today than it did a few years ago when I basically said the same thing.  I used to say that most altcoins were destined for the Yobit 1 satoshi graveyard, which used to be where dying coins went as their final resting place.

I don't have a top three, and if I did it'd be boring as hell (like LTC, Dash, and coins that can be spent without having to worry about outrageous network fees).  Most altcoins are clones or are just trying to do the same damn thing, like these:

















Note that most of them rely on a bunch of incomprehensible cryptobabble to confound anyone who's visiting their website.  Ugh.

For me in 2023, the top 3 that surprised the most were $MATIC, $BGB and an unknown lowcap on Solana called $KITTY. BGB surprised the most with its continuous dominance among CEXs, Matic made the most surprising comeback for me, but KITTY made me the most money. I bought the Kitty token early at around 20k mcap and sold yesterday at 500k mcap. Easily one of my biggest wins as far as trading is concerned in 2023.

In what context did they make an impression? Rapid growth or horrific decline? I divide altcoins/tokens into 2 categories: means of payment and means of investment. As means of payment that directly depend on their blockchains, I single out MATIC and BNB, and of course USDT (regardless of the chain). But as an investment, coins/tokens can only be assessed in retrospect. As previously noted, this is Solana.

Last year was a good year for most altcoins, I guess the impressive pump of Bitcoin will be responsible for the development, because investors were happy and confident to invest in other crypto coins other than Bitcoin. And I'm seeing a continuation this year, as we're looking at Bitcoin to continue it's impressive pump till bull run proper, and altcoins will also follow in the same footstep.

Regarding my top three altcoins for 2023, I'd have to go with your pick of Ethereum, BNB and Litecoin, although I'm tempted to add a fourth to the list which is Solana, because of it's impressive come back and value.

this year around the coin that did impress with performance aside from all the bad thing surrounding it though, is obviously solana, but I personally think that SEI has done quite great as well as injective. These coin quite literally climbing from the very bottom and reached more than 10 times of its bottom price thats already good enough considering we are at early phase of the bullish run, therefore there are still many waves of bullish that could bring the price of these token even higher.
with ETH and BNB though im not really sure with the performance, they indeed rising but not that much maybe because their market capitalization is already too high that it doesn't allow them to climb up that much.
but one thing for sure though, right now finding coin thats good enough for investment already hard, because most of them are already quite high that I don't think we will ever find some really good coin for long term, maybe wait for another bearish then we can invest at the bottom and get all the benefit when next bullrun coming again.

These are the two that has big share on my portfolio and looking for the other one, I have no idea because most of the other coins/tokens that I have got have same share on my stash.
So these are my favorite so far because I am actually holding them and I own them. But with being impressed that's not part of my portfolio, I'd say SOL is one.

It is going to have to be BTC, ETH, and XRP for me, I wish I could say NEO but I havene't checked the price in ages and I sold my holdings in it long ago, although at one point they were highly revered among the other altcoins. I honestly think some of the craziest tokens I have heard of recently are BONK, ORDI, and SATs, which have all seen some pretty huge increases in the last part of 2023 here. All Ordinal related tokens and most definitely anywhere even close to my top 3.

although i was almost too late to buy SOL, i think this one fits my top altcoins including the INJ and VET.

these last 2 rose almost 3x in its lowest value in the bear market so it's gotta be a good altcoin to have if an investor just made a timely entry. but the best gainer is the SOL which outranked the top altcoins and grabbed the attention of crypto investors. SOl has to be one that will be the next ETH.

But I never have that altcoin because there is no interest and only more on bitcoin as one of the investments now.
What I mentioned above altcoins from throughout 2023 until now has a significant increase especially SOL at the beginning knew only $9 and look at it now touching $121 means the increase throughout the year has been 12x the profit they get if they hold from the beginning of 2023.

I never put more hope in altcoins, now only one bitcoin basket is in the portfolio, but I believe the altcoin hype will still continue until the end of 2024.

It will be SOL, XRP and BNB these top 3 altcoins was able to give me some profit and its really worth it taking risk with them.
I just hope that they will continue their good trend in 2024 and optimistic about their future development. 2023 is indeed a great year for cryptomarket as we are able to recover from the bear and not hopeful for a more green candles as we are going to face the bullish trend of cryptomarket.

Dogecoin is one of the altcoins that have been strong this despite the dumping from last time bull but it has still made itself relevant in the market. Without Elon musk rally so much around it for this few months back and it has made some gains especially the last two months. BnB is also another good purposeful altcoins too that has stayed on top. Ethereum of course is the third for me with a steady move up and down with bitcoin.

I think that 2023 is really good for us and tomorrow 2024 will be better for us. I pick three coins which are good investment. These coins are waves, bnb and shib. Besides, we can also invest in btc, mastic, etc, pepe, floki etc. Hopefully, we can profit more in the year of 2024.

Overall the 2023 year was a very good year for all cryptocurrencies because the leader of the pack which is bitcoin had a very good year to bounce back from the decline of 2022, a 150% price increase since last year was something not everyone expected. And as we all know bitcoin raising means that other Alticoins will follow suit too.

My first Alticoins that impressed me the most is Solana, this coin and it’s entire blockchain tokens was set to be under trouble last year when it actually had an affiliation with the FTX saga that many people believe it could be the end of it but the coin bounce back to a 1000% increase not only that the tokens on its blockchain are the gems of the current mini run and are dubbed to be the next big thing in the coming bull runs.

Second is Binance coin BNB, this is a coin I actually thought will bite the dust due to the crisis that CZ and the Binance exchange were into, but it actually stood its ground and still remains my favourite exchange coins for now.

Third is the meme coin BONK, is there any bull run even if it is a mini one where meme coins wouldn’t take the center stage? But i never expected it to rally up like this due to the bad experience people had with doge then but it pump and is currently even ahead of Pepe in ranking.

2023 was not too bad for the altcoins in the cryptocurrency ecosystem and though not all but almost all were doing well, even the newly launched ones in the year 2023 were coming up to meet up the demands. I appreciate all the projects and I believed they will all do well with much more better in this coming year. Diversification of investment helps many investors in the ecosyspace and everyone (all the investors) are hoping to do well in the year 2024.

My top three altcoins in 2023 which I have heard people using frequently,  and more popular were Ethereum, BNB and Litecoin. These three are the ones people were even using to replace Bitcoin when the network was so much congested, and mostly Litecoin is used for that. Always go for XRP,BNB and Doge since this provides a low fee transaction especially at the moment there's a huge problem happening since network is so congested and fees on each transaction we made is so high.

That's why this is my top altcoins choices since we all know that this could provide on what we are looking for a coin and then on bull run discussion this three coins will surely not left behind since they would create some price rally especially when bitcoin bull run is going to happen.

I have never put interest in altcoin although few of them like IDEA token after it pump so high i sold off and never hold any of it, actually it was very scary holding them in my custody because I already had this mindset that altcoin doesn't last and dump severely on holders so what I did was to take profits and it happened that I made the right choice to have sold then and after all, it never rise to previous place again. I changed my investment plan to bitcoin and since from then I never ceased to hold bitcoin in my portfolio, except then was doing little trading more of scalping with ETH and BNB. 

I think it is better to look at categories instead of naming names of one token. To me L2 tokens will perform very well because people have realised there is more outside of Ethereum, just look at the recent performance of Solana ecosystem, i also expect Exchange tokens to do very well, the will turn to money making factory in the bull run and the third category is the AI space, AI is going to do extremely well in 2024, we are just scratching the surface
