This is my view on Rohingyas:

1. They are illegal immigrants originally from Bangladesh.
2. They should be deported to Bangladesh.
3. Rohingyas have committed ethnic cleansing in Rakhine and have killed more than 100 Hindus and Buddhists. The Bangladesh government must pay repatriation for their crimes.

The Rohingya are being slaughtered more often than deported. The reports are atrocious.

I don't care whether they are getting slaughtered. They poked the Buddhists and they got hit in return. And they were quick in playing the victim card. What is your opinion about the Muslim ARSA militants who slaughtered innocent Hindus in Rakhine? What is your opinion about these animals who raped and murdered Mru tribal women in Rakhine?

The Rohingya are often described as "the world's most persecuted minority".

They are an ethnic group, majority of whom are Muslim, who have lived for centuries in the majority Buddhist Myanmar. Currently, there are about 1.1 million Rohingya who live in the Southeast Asian country.

The Rohingya speak Rohingya or Ruaingga, a dialect that is distinct to others spoken in Rakhine State and throughout Myanmar. They are not considered one of the country's 135 official ethnic groups and have been denied citizenship in Myanmar since 1982, which has effectively rendered them statelessMuslims have lived in the area now known as Myanmar since as early as the 12th century, according to many historians and Rohingya groups.

The Arakan Rohingya National Organisation has said, "Rohingyas have been living in Arakan from time immemorial," referring to the area now known as Rakhine.

During the more than 100 years of British rule (1824-1948), there was a significant amount of migration of labourers to what is now known as Myanmar from today's India and Bangladesh. Because the British administered Myanmar as a province of India, such migration was considered internal, according to Human Rights Watch (HRW).

The migration of labourers was viewed negatively by the majority of the native population.
After independence, the government viewed the migration that took place during British rule as "illegal, and it is on this basis that they refuse citizenship to the majority of Rohingya," HRW said in a 2000 report.
This has led many Buddhists to consider the Rohingya to be Bengali, rejecting the term Rohingya as a recent invention, created for political reasons.

I know that we have different opinions and viewpoints in life. However hurting someone because they are from a different culture, race, or religion is unjustifiable by all means. Peace to everyone.
This is often told to the victims. Why not try to convince maniacs who are killing on behalf of Muslims?

I am confused with the leaders of the world, which has always called for peace. I'm confused, why didn't they take the decision to help the rohingya muslims who are tormented.

They kept quiet whiles all these atrocities were being done to them and no one came out to say a damn thing because they are muslims and i doubt that an foreign country will offer the refugees a chance to come and live in their country after all the Syrian refugees are causing in the countries where they are currently living.

They were never treated as Burmese anyway. From the few clips I watched it seems most of them were people working for a Buddhist king there. Then the influx into the area increased when the British controlled it (after all, people travel across the empire in search of work, etc).

What I'm surprised was that no one has started blaming colonialism yet. Oh wait, that only happens in Africa and the Middle East. You don't often hear Southeast Asians and Latin Americans blame it all on their former masters, at least not as often as the former two.

Rohingyes are a Muslim minority in Myanmar regarded by many Myanmar Buddhists as illegal migrants from Bangladesh....The Rohingyas have lived in Myanmar for generations and the Bangladesh government has called for Myanmar to take back the refugees.... They are denied citizenship in Myanmar and have been described as the world’s most persecuted minority.... Rohingyas are persecuted in Myanmar by security forces and Buddhist extremists.... Myanmar has denied persecuting the Rohingyas....Bangladesh also follows a policy of making the country unwelcome for Rohingya refugees....

This is the type of situation where we need not think about helping others, we just act and do it. I don't know why other nations are hesitating to act fast. The deaths should have been avoided if only the Leaders of each nation will help each other. I salute Bangladesh for opening its doors to the refugees.

This is really sad. Seeing women, children and so many people fleeing from Myanmar to Bangladesh to save their lives. I hope the United Nations and those who are concern with Human rights  do act fast.
