If any of you have ever wondered what the inside of your YubiKey looks like, Travis Goodspeed recently published tear-down photos and a die photo of the actual microcontroller it's based on. Probably not the most high-security device in the world, but I guess at least they're reasonably tamper-evident.

(Travis Goodspeed was also the other person involved in the Len "rabbi" Sassama tribute that was embedded in the block chain a while ago. He's apparently very neighbourly.)

He makes it sound like he reverse engineers the thing. It looks like he smashed it with a goddamn hammer.
