The battery keeps resetting because the CMOS battery is weak or down, you need to get new one and your settings will stop resetting on every reboot, good luck

Change the BIOS battery on the motherboard.

+1 probably needs a new bios battery.

I'm trying to get a rig going with a Z270-A motherboard. If I set up bios correctly and then run one card, it works fine. If I turn it off and then connect 2 cards, the bios resets itself to default and I have to change everything again. Then it works fine. If I connect three cards, again, I have to reset the bios to be configured to 2gen, etc., but all three cards hash correctly. With four cards, all I get is a blinking light in the upper left-hand corner. I'm using Hive OS.

With zero cards connected, I can access the BIOS, but if I connect a USB and SSD, my keyboard will not work, and I can't get into the bios. I was trying this to try and load USB WINDOWS 10  media to an SSD.

Also, when I tried to flash the bios, the mouse would always stick on the DCHP option, so I couldn't check for the latest version.

Any suggestions? These components were working before just fine for two years. I'm trying to set up different cards. I did check to see if memory was supported by Asus, and the one I am using is one letter off. However, it worked okay before.
