OK, got it working now. I went to hardware devices list and found the universal serial bus controllers at the bottom. Uninstalled the printer one and then re-booted, it worked.! I guess that was holding it up.

Topic: zadig killed my printer driver (Read 718 times)
can anyone help, whilst trying to get my Antminer running (which is fine now), I was clumsy with zadig V2.0 and accidently overwrote the driver for my printer. Now I can't get my printer working! I've tried installing all of the 4 options available with zadig for the printer with no joy. I've tried different ports with no luck. I've tried reinstalling drivers with no joy.
Under devices and printers, the printer is listed as an unknown device, which I can eject etc.. however, when I install a new printer, I'm not sure what it does because nothing will print to it. It seems to have lost connectivity somehow.
Printer works fine from my laptop so I've not damaged that.
