Actually, you can compile the original client on OS X:

I was using parallels, but it shrink my memory to 1gb only, that makes impossible to mine.

Hey guys, there is some zcash client for mac users? dual boot will be my last resource.

Dual boot is your first resort.

Or buy fusion and run windows and Mac at the same time.

Maybe parallels will work. Never used it.

My first miner was a Mac Pro in 2011 dual boot to windows 7 with a single hd5770
