They're preying on people who just want to ride the wave and have absolutely no idea what they're doing, a 10 GPU 1080ti rig should cost no more than 9000$ (assuming no tax) imo and it would get 7000-7500 sols which should ROI in about a year. it can even roi faster if you mine coins like decred, vertcoin, dgb and the such.

WGAF what someone lists something for on eBay?

Why don't you ask the guy selling it.

Here is some advice you won't get anywhere in life speaking like that with people. Watch your attitude you just signed up probably got banned before. I've been here since 2011.

If you have been here since 2011 you would know about the Bitcoin mining cycle boom and busts. This isn't the first time when GPUs are sold out and people are marking them up on eBay.

Hello,
I apologize in advance for not sounding that smart here. I have done about three hours of research and my question is why am I seeing a rig on ebay that he's trying to get $11,995 and it does 4100sols/s. I did the mining calculations it seems that would make $6790 a year until the difficulty goes up. So why would someone spend $11,995 on a 10 GPU mining unit when it won't make the money back?
