Nice, but you have to add more cards so to increase your hashrate.
Have you checked the power consumption of your rig at the wall plug?

If not, you have to do it for you to know if you have "spare space" of power for adding a 4th card

No, I have a Watt Meter ordered, it should be here in 1 or 2 days.
I would think I could get 4 on there with the 1200w PSU. If not i can just add another small one.

Good to know you have your problem solved. I'm quite curious to know more about your motherboard especially with more than 8 same type GPUs. Do you plan to add more cards later?

Hi all!

I have the rig finally up and running!! Thanks for everyone's input and help.

I ended up disconnecting everything and clearing the CMOS again.

Put everything back together and started right up.

Once again. Thank you to all who provided tips and guidance.

My apologies if it was not clear. It didn't boot with either the on board graphics or dedicated gpu's.
I have double check my cables about six times, I'm making myself crazy!
I also tried your tip with the CMOS, However, the problem still persists.

Make sure everthing is disconnected with the graphics cards and then clear the cmos. Make sure that all the cables are connected properly to the motherboard with no lose connections. Even if one of the adapters is ajar the motherboard may not reboot. Sometimes I even unseat the cmos battery if all else fails to clear the cmos. If that doesn't work you could have damaged your motherboard but I would definitely reseat the battery first before giving up hope.

check your CPU and RAM, try to pull it out and back in, ensure that it is properly in place, look also with the power supply for your mainboard, ensure that it is also plugged. 24pins and 8 pins

I also suspect the bios setting if it is set to integrated GPU or PCI-e GPU, you better ensure it is well configure.

Gone phishing...

Remove ALL cards and reattempt booting with your display hooked up to the integrated graphics output.

If that fails, turn everything off & unplug from the wall, then install one graphics card into the primary x16 slot (on this board, that's the one physical x16 slot). Plug it all back in and attempt to boot with the display hooked up to the card you just installed.

Assuming that works, you should be able to access the BIOS and ensure that video detection is on auto or you may manually set it to use the integrated graphics.

In general, if your system isn't booting, buying another stick of RAM is usually not high up on the list of things to attempt. Replacing RAM you suspect is faulty, sure. Adding another stick when you've already got 8GB? Not so much.

Hello all.

I have been mining bitcoin for sometime now, and I wanted to check out an alt-coin for some fun.

I have built the rig..... with some spare parts I had around except for the MB

ASrock H110 btc Pro+
(2) 8GB DDR4 RAM
Intel G3930 Kaby Lake Dual-Core 2.9 GHz
500 gb Seagate hardrive from an old comp
1 MSI GeForce GTX 1070 8GB
1 PNY Geforce GTX 1070 3GB
1 ZOTAC Geforce GTX 1070 6GB Mini

Orig PSU - 1200w EVGA SuperNova P2 80+ TI
Now PSU - 1600w EVGA SuperNova T2 80+ TI

The 1st problem that I had was that the 1200W PSU would not power up the system, which is weird cause I would have thought that it would have been plenty of power.
So I just unplugged all of the cords and plugged them into the 1600W PSU......system fires up! Woot! 1200W PSU went bad I reckon.

The problem I am having now is that the VGA port on the motherboard is not giving me a signal.
I don't have any of the risers from the GPU plugged into the motherboard
I have check to make sure the RAM is all the way plugged in and I have even gone and bought more RAM 8gb --> 16gb to see if that would fix it.
Still nothing. I hoping someone will take pitty on me and have some ideas on what could be causing this. LOL!
