I've noticed ZCash is doing rather well lately, and my centralized exchange supports it however... I still wish I could buy Monero instead. Regardless of the token potential ( I mean, even Dogecoin can make you money right ? ) I'm more interested in the utility of the token. As far as privacy and anonimity, Monero has long been regarded as the leader in this space... I wonder if ZCash provides a sufficiently good alternative ? I've heard it doesn't have the privacy options by default, and most people don't use them, whereas with Monero , most users appreciate and use these features. ZCash users on the other hand are even discouraged from using them ? ( that's what I've heard ). So is ZCash even worth considering ?

Both of them are privacy coins and i don't see any reason to compare them. You can compare them with bitcoins but those two coins are good for holding and investment if you know the potential of privacy coins.

zcash and monero both are private coin that still being active develop and have huge community althougt KYC exchange like binance or bittrex start to delisting it because that fiture

Even though binance or other centralized exchanges may delist them, they still have a big use case and they won't lose their value. When it comes to privacy nothing is better than Monero or ZCash.

Privacy is more about the use than the nature of coin. Bitcoin too could be seriously privacy focused coin if you use it with that motive. Monero and Zcash certainly makes it easier though. Monero is the favorite of the dark web that explains it's better trust among privacy focused customers.
For anyone who just wants to earn from the trade and investment, any coins that are readily available are good.

I will go for monero instead of zcash. Monero already proven its tech in so many news that published by authority to crack the tech that used by monero. Im never using zcash and in my opinion we didn't need to have bunch of privacy coin. One with a good tech is more than enough to encourage a lot of people to use this. The only problem is whether these type of coins can sustain in exchange sites.
We do know that the regulators can do something with cex and anon coin like that have no power when it comes to the exchange site and so for me the winner must be monero

I think after reading the quote below you will think again about Zcash:

Quote
While miners receive 80% of a block reward, 20% is given to the "Zcash development fund": 8% to Zcash Open Major Grants, 7% to Electric Coin Co., and 5% to The Zcash Foundation.[9][10]

Any currency that gives developers free money cannot be considered good for privacy or for future investment, Monero is a true private currency, but this does not guarantee that it is a good investment, and therefore you have to wait several years for privacy to become a valuable thing.

For me, and if I'm looking for privacy, I will go with Monero

There is an opinion that the price of anonymous coins is growing well after pumps in the market. If the market is bearish, then the price of ZCash and Monero will fall as well as the price of other altcoins. For example, if I need anonymity and security, then I'd rather trade in Ethereum and its tokens and then use https://tornado.cash/
And ZCash and Monero have risks that they will be removed from many services.

I'll go with Monero this time if non-technical or price side.
For me, Monero is the king of privacy coins, and after all altcoins about privacy coins are copycats. I remember before there is a lot of projects about privacy coins and most of them are dead now, I'm glad Zcash is still there.

if u still wanna send your money privatly u can use third party app like tornadocash or other mixing up, so your coin like btc or eth still being private
and yes if u send your money to KYCed exchange is not become private anymore hahah

For me it is either private or public.  No in between.  Once you start having two sides, public and private, you will start discriminating.  When you have one group of people willing to be public or not caring about being private, those who are going to try being private will be seen as weirdos or suspicious.  This is why I prefer Monero over any other alternative.  See Bitcoin and how mixer users are discriminated.  If everyone is private, you can not call someone suspicious anymore because everyone is equally anonymous.

But why can you not buy it?  Does your CEX not have Monero listed?  If so, why do you not use Bisq?  Or if you really want to do it through a CEX, why not buy Monero off another website?  There are various exchanges that let you buy it, check kycnot.me and see for yourself!
