So it means that Bitcoin is legal in india to use it. As you are collecting tax for the transactions made, but their is no clear picture about Bitcoin state in India.

Are you sure that Zebpay started sending out tax bills on users, how come that is possible. Income tax from other sources is to be paid by you while you are filing the tax returns and why should they collect with all the transaction with them, you can shift your trading to other exchanges as i have not heard these kind of follow up from those exchanges.

Where the 1st guy says " It is 'income from other sources'." It is the head where residual income, income which cannot be reported under salary, house property, capital gains, business and profession, is reported. "

So finally Gov can tax on bitcoin in India through these big exchanges.

What does it mean to you guys? This is making me stop using their service.

My tax is over 50$ for this month. This is insane.
