Correct, zero profit would make you feel perhaps neutral, however when you lose something it will affect you badly and you may do more wrong things.

I absolutely agree with your point, As I follow the golden rules of legendary investor Warren Buffet. Even if he has a different opinion regarding the crypto industry, I have noticed that his rules and principles of trading in the traditional stock market also prove helpful while trading in the crypto market. His rules are simple and clear,

# 1. Never Lose Your Money
# 2. Never Forget Rule Number 1

"ZERO profit is better than lose"

Ehm. No. It is about risk vs reward. In crypto you have high risk with high reward potential.

If you listen to your own advice you will just leave crypto. Don't get your point at all.
I disagree  Wink

Coolcryptovator wanted to say that it's better to have no loss instead of the chance to get huge, but unrealistic profits. Money that you didn't lose because you did not invest in this unrealistic offer where high profits were promised is also win (compared to if you would lose it)
Most scams use the greed of unexperienced users to promise far too high returns which can't be true and it's always good to avoid them.

I understand the point of Coolcryptovator quite well and it's always a very useful advice to unexperienced users. There is a good rule about it:
If a business model is too good to be true, then it isn't true.

This is a short post and reminder for newbies,

Around the forum you will find so many greedy offer by many users. So many Ponzi Scheme and gambling website's are offering many kind of bonus. It's really greedy offer and lot of greedy members fall on it and got scam eventually.

At first scammers will offer you bonus then they will force you to make deposit in order to withdraw bonus. But they will never approved your withdrawal. That means you losed your fund for forever.

That's why learn to apply your brain and make judgment by yourself before invest anywhere. Wherever you think high risk then better to avoid it. Because,
"ZERO profit is better than lose"

Hey this is a classic example of loosing one’s funds because of one’s greed, and it’s not limited to this forum alone I feel this also applies to the emails we receive, and all those tempting offers we see on the net. I have a simple rule whenever I see such offers here, visit the sites Ann and see if there’re positive or negative reviews about the offer. Also I feel many newbies come here to make quick income without even understanding the risks, I do hope this post guides them well.

I wanna add here the paypal charge back option too which I have faced back in 2018. I have seen some people looking for exchanging paypal into BTC. Be careful my dear mates. I don't know how the exchanges go here but you probably will sometimes be the victim of charge back if you exchange paypal with BTC or other currency when you gonna take paypal from a newbie who don't have a good exchange history here.

Its true that everyone wants to invest on profitable projects. But running after big bonus or earn bigger amount in a shortime isn't a wise choice. Basically you always have a chance to lose your fund if you try to be a millioniare in 1 week or month. I always prefer to make profits from a safety zone.

Scammers always offer "small invest big return" package. Where many newbie investors easily fall on their trap due to lack of experience.

At first scammers will offer you bonus then they will force you to make deposit in order to withdraw bonus.
This is already so rampant all around this network and even on the internet generally, initially it worked well for the scammers and a whole lot of unguarded individuals fell for this, but it's now so popular and it's awareness has spread all over, "any offer of payment before withdraw is a scam". So any victim of this these days is an obvious greedy person, and greed is the most major cause of people losing their money today

This form of fraud is very popular on Telegram, the fraudster will set up a group of celebrity rogue, exchange ..They will issue a free bonus program to everyone, but to withdraw the reward to the individual wallet you will have to send money to the address they propose. Although this is not a new form of fraud, it is still very useful for newcomers, lack of knowledge but full of greed.

We learn by making mistakes, don't be afraid of making them you deprived yourself some lessons by so doing, don't settle for zero profit at the same time don't be greedy and stupid in your investment decisions.
I am not sure I could agree with you here. It is not really a good feeling learning a lesson the hard way. In case you are holding bags of a coin and there is terrible news from their side that leads to a huge drop and maybe bankruptcy is imminent, it is much better to sell and make no profit than watch as your coin drops 30,50...80%

The bonuses on most gambling sites often have extremely high minimum qager requirements for withdrawal (I've seen 40X on several occasions), and I typically don't take bonuses when I start out gambling on any crypto casino. There's certainly people out there that win enough to be able to cash out that much BTC over time, but those people are few and far between and some sites start asking for verification to prevent withdrawals in such cases.

This isn't primarily a trading section, but being greedy hurts you in trading too. Sometimes closing a trade early is better than holding it for an extended period of time in leveraged trading, but this applies even to non leveraged trades- plenty of people bought BTC below $20K and didn't sell at the ATH and are in the red right now; sure, BTC will likely hit those levels again in the future, but even a small profit's much better than being in the red.

This is the typical style of those scammers, they will make their users earn that much and will give that credit for their accounts but on the latter part when you are about to withdraw and cash out. They will reason out that you need to pass on something such as KYC or deposit before proceeding to the withdrawal.

If they asks for money, be alerted and don't proceed anymore with those kind of websites.

Absolutely right, the greedy offer couldn't be a legit offer at all. Scammer presents their offer very interesting way that's why we think they are legit and we fall in their trap. But we should remember that there is no easy way to make a profit which offers scammers.

I think no matter the consequences, some people would choose the easy money. You are participating in Ponzi Schemes, HYIP, etc. Doing that kind of investment is wrong. You might lose everything in an instant, or you know you are in profit but still choose to be greedy and then lose the money. That's the typical thing that happens towards every time the bubble burst in a Ponzi. That's not all to be worried about, and it's better to have your knowledge in a certain thing to be sure.

As the OP said, it's better to have 0 profit than to lose everything. No negativity, please.

The gist is there no one especially in this forum who give you a lot of money/profit sans you did elbow grease before. To hunt out illegitimate money (through scam, rob and another way) already been straitened at this time, moreover to hunt out legitimate money which must be done by having a healthy mind, good knowledge and deep insight into the subject being worked on.

This is why it is useful to use a stop loss on your orders when you play the markets. Learning to cut and run away with 98% of what you had is much better than watching it go to 50% or 25% of what you originally had. You can always buy back lower.

Because,
"ZERO profit is better than lose"

Sure, safest is not investing at all but its too "obvious" advice.
I know a person that invested and waited years to get his money back (price drop) he would waited 3 months more, he would earn 5 times his money.

So whatever you do, try to get best of it.

Unfortunately to many newbies fall into the trap or scammers and that's not only because they are greedy but it's because they are stupid. And I'm not trying to talk bad about anyone but I see so many people who jump directly at the first website they found and invest their money without considering the other options they have. They also don't make any research about the website thinking they are smart enough to figure it out if it's a scam or not. So, my recommendation is to invest only in something that seems very trustworthy. Even though you are not going to find an investment where you will get paid back 100%, you can minimize the chances of losing your money by doing some research before investing.

"ZERO profit is better than lose"

Certainly, every newbie should think about not losing deposited money so, the earnings should be in second place. As time passes, when you learn more, your earnings will increase according to your knowledge.

Normally when I see those enormous bonuses... Its usually a red flag for me. It means there is a string attached to the bonus to ensure that you won't be able to withdraw it or chances of you winning and withdrawing your winning could be way so minimal.

While they're using bonus to bait people particularly those greedy that don't have time to use their brain, they just grab it impulsively.

"ZERO profit is better than lose"

Sure, some of us is risk taker hence they say there's no harm in trying, so instead of just hold their money they'll use it to those enticing investment without decent knowledge and end up broke.

And just learned their lesson in a hard way.

Wherever you think high risk then better to avoid it. Because,
"ZERO profit is better than lose"

My Guide: If the offer is too good to be true then most time it is. As an investor that learnt most of his investment skills from Robert kiyosaki's guidelines I don't agree with the statement "zero profit is better than lose" this might mislead some newbie, as an investor you don't settle for zero profit {you gain nothing by so doing, neither profit nor lessons} but that doesn't mean you should invest stupidly although if you invest and lose, you gain experience which is kind of a good thing if you can utilize it and build on that lesson.

We learn by making mistakes, don't be afraid of making them you deprived yourself some lessons by so doing, don't settle for zero profit at the same time don't be greedy and stupid in your investment decisions.

I have also seen certain users win lots of money and they get denied from withdrawing their winnings or accounts just get suspended for no reason.

It's often funny to see gambling sites that are unlicensed inheriting some laws just to stop users from doing this if its true.

I know matched betting is legal in the UK but I assume these sites like to block people from doing that. There aren't many good casinos out there in crypto, 777coin, bitvest and yolodice don't seem to have many problems though (although they're without free promotions for the most part afaik).

Unless you allow for the risks no profit is certainly better than a loss in a lot of cases. Unless its worth the experiment with a small amount of money (although I'm quite risky with things I've done and I wouldn't recommend it). It's the issue of having an irriversiblenpayment processor.

I remember when someone put 70btc into emicoin and made a thread on it here (it was a ponzi they definitely made a loss).

I agree with you 100 percent. In other words, always remember that not losing is winning. If the offer or bonus looks too good to be true, it is probably a scam. Being a member of this forum for quite some time now, I have seen all sorts of complaints from people who have lost substantial amounts of money. Therefore I can reiterate: Stay safe and don't be greedy.
