The problem with ZeroCoin is the accumulator's trusted setup process (Section IV).

We cannot trust the accumulator trapdoor will be discarded.

One would need to investigate the alternative of implementing RSA UFOs for an accumulator without a trapdoor.

Crypto is the separation of Power and State.
I'd like to see Zerocoin target Feathercoin.  It has a good community and infrastructure already in place, waiting for an application.

The zerocoin library is in alpha state so I think not much coin developer brave/mad enough to implement it in a live system Smiley.

When somebody has confirmation and/or evidence on which chain zerocoin is hitting first, please post here.

yea, not much going on with it outside of rumors.   The LTC dev group said they have other things to focus on when asked about ZC.   I think the first Alt to add this functionality will skyrocket in value and many would use it for the anonymous transactions.   Rather than coins just duplicating the code of others, it would be great to see some real innovation.   Last coin that sets itself apart (outside of BTC/LTC/NMC) is Primecoin.  All the others are just tweaks...

Played with Primecoin but the differences don't interest me.

I think I read that verifying a single zerocoin redemption could take up to two minutes, but maybe that was with a bitcoin-sized blockchain. If it could be made quicker, I would really love to see it implemented in an altcoin (and hopefully eventually bitcoin, as it doesn't really change the standing of any bitcoin users or alter its social contract, so I can't imagine much opposition to it if it was made efficient).

Could this be for Litecoin?

Zerocoin is probably not ready for adoption yet, but if someone can make a very efficient implementation then whatever alt-coin it is built for could become very popular.
