Simple
It's in their interest to pump bitcoin cash. At least at tweeter posting level.
There is no proof that he is doing this, right?

He is just promoting bitcoin cash as he knows that there will be no negative effect on the bitcoin price.
But the army of bitcoin shills fanatics will swallow up every news like that and will start pumping their coin, enough for another correction, oh sorry, dump.

He is not the victim of a pump and dump scheme, he is the creator.

whenever someone makes public announcements about investments they are making, you should know that there is something up! otherwise who do you know in real life that willingly reveals their investment plans? or even talk about anything financial related?

the reason why people make these statements publicly is because they want to spread the word. sometimes it is positive (like saying "i invest in BCH") sometimes it is negative (like saying "bitcoin is fraud"). they want to hype/pump or create panic/FUD/Dump the price.
it is always their personal benefit.

now with that in mind, take a look at bitcoin cash charts. you see clearly that a pump has been going on. now you know the reason...
