Of course, before investing in Bitcoin, you must know the basics, because the most important thing an investor needs is a wallet. Don't Invest out of FOMO, or keep your bitcoin on an exchange, and don't forget to keep your seed phrase in a safe place or have it disclosed to someone else

Since you joined this forum last wednesday you want to learn about bitcoin investment so I would first ask you to spend time on the forum. I don't know how much you know about Bitcoin, but you should know about Bitcoin trends. Bitcoin is a long-term project, if you invest and hold it, you can earn good profits. I don't know how much money you have, you can start bitcoin with any amount you want. Although there are risks involved in cryptocurrency investing, use an amount that you won't regret losing later. If you are investing in Bitcoin then one thing you should be aware of is that Bitcoin price can go in opposite direction as you invest in Bitcoin, avoid selling Bitcoin at that time, just hold your Bitcoin until the expectation is reached.

My question is you are here all of a sudden thinking about bitcoin investment do you know about bitcoin?
Also you want to choose between long term investment or short term investment to invest in Bitcoin. If you choose long term investment in bitcoin investment then you should adopt DCA as you can start investing with small amount of money in this method which helps a beginner in bitcoin investment at initial stage.

Very simple, invest the amount you can afford to let lose or wait longer time for it to mature and profitable for you, this is the most important thing to note, in other to remain stable when the market goes in the other direction than you expected, this is very important so a not to be in a rush to sell at lose when you should have hodle a bit.

I grab your points. Directly and indirectly the Op seems to be test-running the ability of the forum memebers towards what they think to be acknowledged as a beginner being investing. That's likely to say that the OP either already knows the answer but not creative enough to put it in an arguable manner.
 But While having the Op the benefit of doubts, I'd assume he/she is a newbie in the forum but doesn't know about the concept of how to the forum works and doesn't know how to construct words with the submissions that proves he/she is unknowledge but willing to acquire bitcoin or related Crypto knowledges before Investing its fund.

Since you are a beginner, you have to know the basic knowledge or element of Bitcoin investment so that you won't panic in the time of the dip or the bear market and also in the bull run to sell them off. And number one thing to know is the general knowledge about Bitcoin and if it i possible other Cryptocurrencies. Then secondly the basic knowledge about wallet which is where the second question might arise which of the wallet is good to use in the investment of Bitcoin and you will see many people will recommend electrum and sparrow wallet but as a beginner it is good you use electrum then when you advance you can add sparrow wallet to it.

And thirdly you have to know how to receive and send coins. Once you open electrum wallet you will see the receive and send button click on the receive button then your address which I the public key will be shown there and your copy it and send to whoever want to sell you Bitcoin and after when you paid the person then the coins will be deposited to wallet. And when you want to sell them click on the send button but before then you have to copy the person who want to buy the coins and paste it as you click send. Then they the total amount or unit of Bitcoin in the box below the address you have posted. Then clicked Okay. Op if you need the pictorial demonstration the processes to buy Bitcoin to you newly created wallet or to deposit coins it and to sell coins from it let me know. I will teach you the how to do it. These are the basic things to know before investing in Bitcoin or other Cryptocurrencies.

And finally don't buy Bitcoin in anyhow vendor or platforms, and I don't know the particular country you are living. And please whenever you buy coins from and Centralized Exchanges (CEX)  don't keep the coins in the CEX but move them to the Self custodial wallet you have created to save your coins if you are interested in the long term investment. That's for those who always time before making investment, once the market show's decline they might choose not to invest in that particular time, they will keep timing until the makes show's green that's when they can invest, this timing method something can make you lose a very huge opportunity. However the strategy of buying at a fixed amount every fixed period I think that's the simplest strategy but when doing that you have to make sure you're investing in a profitable coin like bitcoin so that you won't regret at last.

everyone knows that when they invest in bitcoin, they need a strategy to be able to profit from it. if what you say is just that, without any further explanation, then your post means nothing to newbies. especially when you say that a newbie must be able to understand investment strategies in bitcoin investment, aren't you also a newbie? i don't know if you are an expert or whatever, but when your account was registered just yesterday, your post also applies to you.

You will have understand what Bitcoin is and is not. First you have understand that Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme and is a volatile asset. I suggest you visit the links provided by MK4. As for investment strategy, I recommend you use dollar cost averaging approach, that way you can easily accumulate bitcoins without having to spend more than you can afford.

You are a newbie who registered yesterday, but you are already drawing conclusions and opening a new topic. I'm sure you're someone's alternative account, but in that case, why ask questions that have tons of answers on the forum?
Be more creative when creating topics that encourage repetition of the same responses from users.
