That said, another piece of advice I'd give you is: Don't bet your college dreams on this challenge alone. I believe you should have other plans if this doesn't work out... don't throw your plans away because of gambling.

I just thought it would be a fun little challenge for myself. I am not betting with money I cannot afford to lose, but yes, medical school is very expensive where I am from. It's good that you clarified this; why not put this in your first post here, so to avoid misunderstanding that you're playing with money you can afford to lose?

I am working full time right now and saving for school, but I thought it would be a fun challenge to see if I can pay for medical school with football/soccer bet winnings! If I don't succeed it's not the end of the world, but I will certainly try my best!

Although, you're also starting with a high amount, you should track yourself because if you become unsuccessful then all you have to do is to stop.
But you're right, it's not the end of the world as you've got a job and you can go back save again for it through it.

The Op has embarked on a very risky journey - unless he’s a sport prediction guru I don’t think this is going to work easily unless he’s extremely lucky.
As for the odds he’s going to be needing more than 34 odds because he’s not staking all 0.05 BTC in a single game and the current game has half of it and if he continues like that (unless he decides to increase the amount he stakes for each games) he’d need 68 odds to achieve his goal.
I believe this is going to be a fun thread to watch - I’ll add it to my watchlist and see how you’re doing with this challenge of yours.
