About the being addicted part, it's all up to you. If you think you are a responsible gambler then I don't think you should worry about that.

I usually just play in two different casinos. Stake.com and Sportsbet.io. I have not yet tried other gambling sites but I do check on them especially if I see a good UI.
About the best games, if you are starting slow and just want to feel the games then try the Originals first. You can bet for as long as 1 satoshi on those games and you can test your seed too if you think it is giving you good results. Original games are Dice, Keno, Plinko, and more.
Now if you think you are ready for slots like Pragmatic, Play N' Go, Microgaming, etc.. then you will need to increase your budget since the minimum that I see is $0.01 or $0.1 for other slot providers.

You are too worried about getting addicted, it takes a lot of time before you get into that deep. But if you are that worried, it will only stress you out and it's best not to try further. It defeats the purpose of gambling as entertainment.

Most beginners I think first try that dice game and roulette and after a few days of losing, I'm sure they are also trying out strategies to win as what others are doing.

You should assess yourself first on how you can handle risk since not all people can gamble without affecting their daily life. If you are already worried that your real life might be affected even before gambling means you are an overthinker and scared.

Let your gambling budget be an amount of money that you can afford to lose. Do not see gambling as a way of making money.
