We all fall prey to it sooner or later. Human nature.
But we as gamblers should be fine as long as we learn how to pre-plan our gambling adventures to include certain rules and train ourselves in our discipline so that we can follow those rules.
Greed and overconfidence need to be considered in the equation. So in order to combat that, we need gambling fund/time/betting limits for example. But different people have different triggers, so everyone needs to consider and decide their own rules.
Most of the time, when I am already winning, going on is very easy. Stopping is hard. Why should I stop right? I already have the money. Should I stop just when I have all the money I need to bet, to continue betting? I started with my own money and now that I have all this money from the casino, I have to stop? Why?

You are very correct at some point but I disagree with the newbie you just mentioned. Because greed and over confidence is for everyone. And not to be classified to some set of people. Although newbie might fall in such category mostly but doesn't necessarily mean it's only them but to all. Just like one of my thread I said cashout or wait the end, which if you take a close look at it, you will discover that greed can make someone see a game that need to be cashed out but due to greed of trying to get all will make the person lost all at the end. Then overconfident is another problem people alway have in game which make them loos often though sometimes overconfident works for some people while I doesn't work for some people too. But o. I would say three!
In addition to the ones you already mentioned, there is also "The Unconformist", that player who, even after losing a lot of money, doesn't accept that he is so "unlucky" and then continues to put in more and more money, and generally trying to cover previous losses, always believing that at some point luck will have to "appear" and then he will recover the lost money and still make a profit.
