I am agreed with your these words which are describing all things related to religion while mostly peoples are having troubling life due these leaders which are covering things through religion and making money for themselves and making our lives more problematic because I personally watch many those were not as before entering into this but now having luxurious lives.
Even we can bring changes through education, but now this is also completely changed and things re entering which are covering religious affairs into this for their own sack and own power.

Haven't you seen where things get missing inside church, in the house of God during service, laptops, phones, money you name it, that alone would tell that religion can't put a stop to crime and other crazy behavior we humans possess.

It is an interesting discussion to have, because there are people out there in different societies who believe religion by itself can stop crime and bad things from happening by its own, I recall from by religion classes than even in the Bible it is written that those scourges against humanity are not supposed to disappear before the beginning of the era of peace brought to us by God himself. It is similar to when Christ said that humanity will always have the poor for us to be charitable to, while his time of Earth was limited during his first arrival in the middle east.
Just because of the fact government may not be able to control crime completely, it does not mean we are supposed to give up into reaching a better society by enforcing laws and at the same time tackling the roots and causes of increasing criminality in our countries.

It is a very complex and sensitive topic, the kind of is required to study and research about before giving a broad and open opinion.

Religion can reduce the crime of man only when he follows the religion, starts living according to the rules which are there in religion and caste. Religion never leads people to evil ways, well people indulge in evil deeds under the shadow of religion. Many such persons I have seen are followers of masked religions, they are basically indulging in iniquity and adultery. That person will be a follower of religion only when he obeys the rules and regulations of the society and caste of the religion and it is never possible to live properly. Only by following religion and living life will it be possible to spread properly in the society.

Not through religious education. It’s not the knowledge or education that i am talking about. I’m talking about that personal belief and connection to one’s god. So beyond the knowledge, the relationship you have with your god is what should help and not just the mere knowledge of your religion. You seem to not understand.

In ancient times, religion played an important role in evaluating the moral behaviors of society and on its basis, morals were determined. The situation has become different today with the multiplicity of sources of moral legislation, such as international agreements guaranteeing human rights and the high rates of urbanization in most societies, even poor ones.
