In my own opinion I think that pochettino would have been able to win the conference league than any new coach that is coming to Chelsea. I honestly think that pochettino deserves another chance and not giving him that chance will not do Chelsea any favor. Pochettino have started to understand the boys and also the boys of Chelsea have started to understand Pochettino. This can be seen with the result that Chelsea achieved towards the ending of the season.

Honestly playing the conference league is not a good one for Chelsea. But as an honest fan of Chelsea have said above, that it is better to play the conference cup than not go to the European competition at all. I know that Chelsea target will not be anything apart from FA cup and EPL top 4.

In the final match between Olympiakos and Fiorentina, Olympiakos managed to defeat their opponent with a goal in extra time and won the cup.Our representative Fenerbahce had an adventure that maybe could have won the cup if they had not been eliminated by Olympiakos.I think Fenerbahce was unfortunate to be eliminated. We know that for the last 3 seasons the team that Fenerbahçe has been eliminated in the European Cups has won the trophy and this is an incredible and frankly sad statistic for Fenerbahçe and its fans.So maybe Fenerbahçe would have had a better chance of winning the trophy if they had beaten and eliminated their opponents.

Agreed! Betting on 0-0 score is technically a quite high risk and it is very stressful to follow at the same time. Grin

But for having some fun there is still no problem with giving it a try though.

About the game, it was mostly boring as I said before. But Olympiacos still didn't upset their fans in Athens, which was home. Greek fans are also really good with creating a fierce atmosphere by the way.

As for Mendilibar it is a great work indeed. I don't even know why Sevilla wanted to give up on him after winning a Europa League trophy... It is really hard to understand people in this sport sometimes.

Just like I predicted before, Olympiacos will beat Fiorentina.

Well, they really deserve to become a champion, even though Fiorentina has better ball possession and shots more than Olympiacos, but most of the shots aren't a threat for Olympiacos. Fiorentina is really greedy and heated up to score as fast as possible, unfortunately the reality they can't even score any goal.

Fiorentina once again become a runner up in Conference League, they need to learn how to control their emotions.

Olympiacos really deserved the win because they have been playing an excellent football for sometimes now,and they have also been in an excellent form.When I watched their last games,they were so inform that I predicted them to win the conference league over Fiorentina who people thought were favourite, although Fiorentina were also inform,but my instinct told me Olympicos will shock the world,and they did.
The game was so intense that at some point,I wasn't having doubt whether Olympiacos will come out victorious or not,but one just had to keep believing that they will edge it.Congratulations to them.

Olympiacos is a first Greek club which wins a title in all UEFA leagues and they make history for Greek football. 20 years ago, their national team won the Euro 2004 title as a big surprise of everyone with a goal from Charisteas and now they have a first club win a title in Europe.

Fiorentina on the other hand, lost their second continuous UEFA Conference League final match, after they lost against West Ham last season. Defeat of Fiorentina and the rank higher than 5th position in Serie A of Atalanta will not help Serie A to have more clubs in Champions League, Europa League and Conference League next season. They will have an extra slot in Champions League, which will belong to Bologna.

Congratulations to olympiakos on their Victory as it's a well deserved victory but I feel kind of sad for the Italian team though because it's not an easy experience to have lost two finals back to back with so much effort and time invested to get that there. But what has happened has happened so all what they could do now is to just try their best and see if they can actually break the bad luck spell of losing finals but even that is not easy as they would have to repeat all the hard work or even put more into it to achieve this again and hopefully not lose it again the next time.

No need to feel sad for them since this is football and the best man wins. I watched the game and honestly, the both sides were not as impressive as I expected and given the fact that Fiorentina are a bit stronger in their league, I felt they will press more, but instead it was just two average teams making unnecessary mistakes and even though they had equal shots on target, Olympiakos did the necessary to carry the title and that was to produce a goal.
Fiorentina should have prepared harder to ensure that what happened last season didn't repeat itself but it's as if they didn't learn their lesson. If not for El kaabi's goal, they were prepared to take it to the penalty shootout and what was the assurance that they would win?
If you ask me, Fiorentina had more opportunities to take the lead and even did so if not for the goal to be ruled out for offside, but what then stopped them from getting another?

Yeah I understand, when it comes to the final both teams will play more carefully but initially I predicted there would be one goal in the first half which would trigger a second goal in the next half but unfortunately my prediction was wrong, Fiorentina fired 17 shots but only 4 were on target meaning Olympiacos knows how to play against Fiorentina. From the start I noticed that Olympiacos was playing well against strong teams Aston Villa, Fenerbahce and today Fiorentina it was proof that they really couldn't be underestimated.

I knew Olympiakos was going to win this final. When I saw their performance against Aston Villa and they knock them out from the competition that was when I realized that Olympiakos was going to lift this trophy. They came to England and gave Aston Villa the game of their life, so it's just as if my dream came through. Another thing that's making me happy with this win is that I'm also smiling to the bank because I made a little winning from my bet, because I placed a bet that Olympiakos was going to win the europa conference league. A big congratulations to them, after all the sacrifice they have put in all season it finally paid off and I can feel the joy in the faces of their fans. It's a big win for them.

This is one of the best finals so far this season because the two teams appear to be very mindful of themselves in terms of attack, defense and their performance in general, 0:0 after 71 minutes as at when this post was written and there is still no sign of goal from the two teams and yes we may see a ft 0:0 at the end of the game because the two teams aren't relenting in defense. The two keepers have make notable saves in this game making it t difficult the teams to score but the performance of Fiorentina looks better in the second half because they have made more goal attempts than Olympiacos but the Olympiacos team is enjoying more ball possession in the game. We hope to see one of the team getting a late winner in the game otherwise we may have to see them play extra time before the winner will be decided.
