Well, I'm not one of the big traders or full-time traders, but for me as a trader, I always do day trades, wherein I would collect or see the result of my trade throughout the day or if it hit the TP or SL, and in order to divert my attention to other things, I would play games, watch movies or anime, and of course learn new things in crypto, especially in trading. Yes, while waiting for my trade, I deepened my knowledge of trading, as trading is a continuous process of learning in order to obtain different kinds of knowledge that I could use on my future trades.

I'm already working, so I have a reason why I can leave my trades. I keep busy with my work, but of course, if there's a chance, I'll check my trades to see what their status is or if there will be a notification about my trades.

they are probably just doing something like their hobby instead, bad day of recent price decrease will only make someone that so fixated on their investment 24/7 stressed but not for the big whales who i'm sure of it already own so many things that they can entertain themselves with it, the advantage of being big whale that already reached independence is simply put, you have anything in this world to fill your time with to wait for your investment to eventually grow.

I personally still trying to seek more and more opportunity to earn more and more income and i'm a trader myself but i always find something to fill my time with thats productive enough since i don't really hoard that much amount of money anyway so gotta make it the hard and exhausting way.
but overall as mentioned earlier, building business as a hobby could also be beneficial for anyone else with big capital.

Whale investors have more time to themselves. When hunting for gems, they periodically do some research, buy the tokens, hodl and keep tracks of their assets. On the other hand, the life of traders are some what different. They're mostly online glued to their computer screens, looking for the appropriate time to take a position and the best time to take profit. The merchant traders do the same, they're always online and trading with customers.

I was just wondering what the life of full time trader or merchant trader or big whale investor would look like, and one question that seem to strike my curiosity is, what do big time traders or merchants or whale investors do for fun?
What do they do as a hobby that keeps them focused on their task?
Do they see movies while trading and waiting for an outcome or do something else during the time?

Trading is not a full-time job, and I believe that the majority of people who trade full-time also participate in extracurricular activities. They cannot always be trading 24 hours a day. Once they've mastered the concept of trading, they can place their trade, add the necessary configurations, and go about their daily activities.

Whale investors do nothing after investing. They simply keep an eye on the market to see how much money they have accumulated and what profits they may have made. They are even more engaged than traders and do not have time to read charts to determine the market's direction. They are primarily psychologically motivated and are not swayed by market movements.

I guess big time traders or investors do not limit theirselves only to their stuffs, but most likely they have also their own stable jobs or other sources of income that would also generate profits other than trading or investing. I’m not a big trader nor a big investor, but I have experiences with both. I don’t usually take a lot of time monitoring the market but I’m very active in the forum. And I also have some quality time with my family, and even stroll with some friends and do night out jamming, and do some researches as well looking forward to find other opportunities to make decent profits that will add on to my trading and investment profits.

Why bother knowing how whales or merchant traders spend their time? You are just who you are, you don't have to be like someone, everyone has a different situation.

If you have another job and do not have enough time to trade, you can trade part-time during your hours outside of work, where you can give some orders and wait for the results.

Or you can use a bot that does the work for you, although I prefer manual trading. Or use a price tracking app with notifications turned on, there are many options.

I would appreciate the comments from active traders more because it would give a proper insight on how it would look like if I finally make my way into the trading or the investing world and just need to keep focus.
Your hobbies do not have to change just because you started trading. The hobbies that you have and things that you love doing before you started trading can also be the things that you do while you trade provided that it does not threaten to take away or tamper with the capital meant for trading and does not get you overly distracted that you begin to lose in trades.

What do they do as a hobby that keeps them focused on their task?
Do they see movies while trading and waiting for an outcome or do something else during the time?
If you enjoy painting as a hobby, you could be paiting on your canvas while waiting, if you enjoy video games, you could be play a game or two while waiting. If you enjoy anime's you could watch some episodes or scenes while waiting. If you enjoy music, you could play a song, or an album while waiting. The choice of what to do should depend on what you already like. I don't think there are fixed or specific things that traders should do while waiting.

The working day of a trader is comparable to the working day of an office worker and, accordingly, there can be no entertainment at this time. And as I believe, the only exception may be television, which broadcasts exclusively financial news.

Block halving is coming.
I don't think traders have other hobbies I think the only hobby they have is to keep trading on paper money I heard a full-time trader before that is exactly what he said the only hobby he had was to keep playing the paper money in Tradingview I'm also doing this but still I'm not an expert I just doing it to learn more about trading and become a full-time trader in the future. One of the traders I heard to stay alive while monitoring stocks/coins they keep playing games.

Full-time traders usually always focus on monitoring stocks or coins they want to trade if they see some signal/potential price surge or decline on the stocks/coins they monitor that's time they will take action.

For investors whales or not I think they are just normal people like they said above they always diversify their investments and I think investing is their hobby while they normally do their office jobs.

It depends on the trader the person is and the kind of trading position that the trader is engaged in at that moment. There are some kinds of trades a trader might be into, and he or she will be waiting anxiously for either a huge profit or to stop the loss and take the small profit they made. Some traders take a very high risk by setting a high leverage because they want a high profit. At that point, the trader is aware that for any small volatility in the price of the asset they are trading, they could get liquidated, and that's why I said that what a trader does after entering a position is dependent on the kind of position they enter, the risk level of that position, and also how long they have predicted the trade to last. For example, I entered a position with an entry price of $60k+ and 3x leverage. For almost two weeks now, the trade has just been running, and I expect to stop the trade when I have attained a satisfactory profit. All the while the trade has been running, I have just been doing my normal daily activities while still monitoring the price. Since my leverage is low, I have a low risk of suddenly being liquidated.

For some spot traders whom I know, they are usually very anxious after purchasing a coin. They will pray and hope for the price to just appreciate a little so that they can take a profit and leave.

Investors don't bother much once they have done the research and invested but they may keep track of market like they may check once in a while whenever there is a buzz in the market to see how their investment has performed and they are someone who don't have to panic much because everything is sorted they know when to withdraw and they spend rest of their time thinking about strategy and other investments as they have diversify their investments and not restricted to crypto alone, but day traders goes through the worst they are glued to their systems and the stress level is way too much in day trading so there is no waiting period for day traders.

There is a difference between an investor and a trader. Investors are people that hold on a coin for a very long term it can be months or years. The set of people only come to look at the market periodically and research on them and then invest on their findings and then go back to their normal activities like other income generating activities or just normal life activities.

Then there are traders I will focus on future traders this set are also in two the swing traders and the day traders. The swing traders are more like the mid between the daily traders and the investors. They hold on to their trades for days, weeks and also months they Chart more frequently than the investors. But they can do all sort of other income generating activities and normal life’s

Then they are the daily traders, this set of traders are the most busiest, they are on the chart almost every hour and most do not have time to engage in other stuffs.

But overall investors or traders are just like normal people and can go on with their normal life activities

I'm really not a whale, but I'm an investor. So just in case you were wondering:

60% of the time: trying to make more money elsewhere to be able to invest more money(I'm not some millionaire before being an investor)
15% of the time: reading on stuff that would make me better as an investor/entrepreneur in general
10% of the time: socializing with people
5% of the time: gaming

...gambling responsibly. Do not be addicted.
What do they do as a hobby that keeps them focused on their task?
Do they see movies while trading and waiting for an outcome or do something else during the time?
You can have work and be a trader. You can open a position in the morning and later check after work in the evening. If a trader is not working, he can prefer to check the market price of the coin he used to open a position, checking the price often but that is not good as it demand energy than traders will think until they notice that it is exhausting them. A trader can be the CEO or manager of a company. A trader can be anyone  and he or she may have work. Depending only on trading is even not advisable.
