Note that this challenge is still open for anybody who meets the requirements in the OP.
Well, It's great to open it up to all person. But even if it is open to all, not everyone can do it.  Not all laptops and PC's HD/SSD can do it because they don't have that enough capacity. It is generally seen that premium laptops/PCs with 512GB SSD & 8/16GB of RAM can easily run Windows 11.  Everything can be done well 512 & Win-11.  That's why many people can't do it despite having a fairly good quality laptop/PC.
I can see that, we are few person have 600GB download space on their device. If it was 400-500GB instead of 600GB then many people could do it.

Hey friends

I want to run a node on my pc and this is my first time experience and I did not run any node in past and but I like to join this challenge

Can someone guide me can my pc run this mode or not?

I mentioned my pc specifications which you can see in image below

Can this pc runs this node?

According to the system requirements information on the Bitcoin Core website[1], you can run on a PC with these specifications.

You can install Bitcoin Core, but make sure your disk storage is still large enough for it. Until now, the total Bitcoin Blockchain Size is around 543GB[2], to be safer if you want to download the entire blockchain data and store it on a local disk, you have to prepare 600GB of storage. If you have less unused storage, I at least recommend using the prune option.

DAY 15

94% there and it's obviously slower than what it used to be. I was averaging a 9-10% increase daily. In a maximum of 2 days, I should be completely done.

Why does this look different from what everyone else is running?

What Software/Hardware are you using here? I see you you have an answer above but is this not on android??

Personally am interested, If you don't mind care to share how to go about running of a node on mobile Cool

No I'm running a
optiplex 7050
start 9 os w/ 1 tb ssd
Sounds like a model in the Dell family  Roll Eyes

Yes you are correct it is a Dell but,I'm using my android phone with tor to connect  to my node while I'm away, if you have anymore ? I'm here

Thank you NotATether for the challenge that made us try the Bitcoin core. As I said before, I have tried to run it on another device and It was supper laggy. My system was freezing every few minutes when I was running Bitcoin core but that was in Windows 10 operating system. This time I tried it on my laptop which has the Windows 11 operating system and I didn't face many lags. I didn't face any technical difficulties but there were some internet issue. I wish I could run a full node instead of a pruned one. If I am not wrong, my pruned node does not help the network. Or does it?

Pruned nodes still verify transactions, arrange them in the mempool ordering them by fee, and serve a limited number of recent blocks from the disk to other nodes (peers) who ask for them. So in fact, pruned nodes really do help the network. They just cannot be connected to for the purpose getting the historical blocks during the Initial Block Download (IBD).

Interesting. Are you running it in mobile device? I never knew it's possible.
