All of us is greedy and hunger of information and knowledge, we will only be satisfied when we die. I think the reason is because just by living our daily life in a very casual and common way, problem will still come and these problems require us to seek for knowledge and information so we can solve those problems, and as I said before every living being has problem, all of our problem will only be solve and stop when we die, thus we don't have to gain knowledge and information anymore.

like you've already pointed out, human want is insatiable and after you've been able to attain a particular height in a given field, the next thing that comes to your mind is how to become better at the stage you're now after which you work on how to go to the next stage.

One major factor that wouldn't give you rest of mind at every stage of your life is the knowledge that their are better privileges at the too and that if you can only put in additional effort, it will take a little time before you finally get to the top. Normally, it's actually crowded at the bottom but and their is a lot of opportunities at the top so everyone want to grow out of the crowd at the bottom so as to enjoy the privileges that abound at the top.

Using this forum as an instance, everyday people join the forum and the thing in their mind is to rank up to become full member of of the forum and if as someone that's a full member already you become contended withe your current state, it would only take time before you will see people that had no merit while you where a full member climbing to join you at that rank and might even leave you behind to become a senior member of the forum.

Striving to become better both in terms of knowledge, finance, recognition or whatever you can think of isn't out of place but you shouldn't allow it becloud your mind such that you only chase it at the negligence of your personal joy and live the whole of your life pursuing after them. The truth is that pursuing all of these things alone will give you an unbalanced life if you don't give yourself the needed time to working on your personal life to become more of a person than a clout chaser.

You can never be satisfied with anything you have because they will always want more, so he will never be able to finish it. If you have something and touch it every day without replacing anything, he will absolutely finish it, so even if you have something, you must find a method to add to it. And when it comes to information, no one can claim to know everything in the world. Every day, you will learn new things that will help you become more knowledgeable.

You will never see someone who will tell you that he knows everything you say and will give you answers, so you will learn many things every day, and you will never be satisfied with knowledge because the world will be difficult without it, which is why he can never satisfy anyone. Knowledge they say is power and the human want/needs are technically insatiable hence the continuous search and demand for knowledge and satisfaction of their immediate needs. The insatiability of human wants is so because the satisfaction of a need/wants births another so they can never be totally satisfied. Change they say is constant and so is the evolution of knowledge and the birth of new trends and better ways of approaching and resolving issues and that's why the quest for knowledge can never be enough because there's always a better way to do that which have already been done so the improved and better way will means you sought for the knowledge and that's what's applicable in the world around us today.

You get to a point where the more information you have the more productive you can be, same applies to resources, the more resources you have the better you can be and the more you can aswell achieve, limited resources and knowledge has a lot to do with how much you can achieve at a time and that's why there's an in ending quest for both knowledge and resources.

We humans are just plain curious.  We can't help but keep learning new stuff - it's in our nature.  Some of us just wanna know enough to get by, but others gotta understand everything there is to know! I think part of it is motivated by a desire for self-improvement.  Getting smarter makes us feel good, like we're unlocking our full potential and  can't underestimate the high that comes with mastering something new either.  People can get downright addicted to leveling up their skills. 

As for how much learning's enough, that depends on the person.  Most are happy knowing the basics about a couple topics.  But some folks wont be satisfied til they've gotten multiple PhDs and read every book ever written! It comes down to personalities I guess.  While one guy's content with casual knowledge, another one's determined to dominate every field there is.  She wont rest til he's an expert in everything under the sun!

So I'd say our never-ending pursuit of knowledge stems from human curiosity, drive for self-improvement and maybe a bit of obsessive addiction too.  How deep we dive in is real individual though. 

Doesn't the thirst for knowledge begin at birth? A child, just learning to speak, asks thousands of questions. This is characteristic of a reasonable person; the thirst for knowledge proves his development, which is exactly the opposite of some people who are self-confident and claim to be quite literate. Training your mind has a positive effect on a person’s life and longevity.
Do you remember that popular phrase of Socrates: "I know that I know nothing”? That is, the more I learn about the world, the more I understand that I still don’t know everything enough.

Some of those people are not posting for merit; again, those people you see with thousands of merits have already gotten to the rank everyone here will like to reach. So those people are posting to give us the knowledge they already have. They serve as teachers here for others that don’t know much about bitcoin and some other cryptocurrencies, although if they get merited, they will feel good because merit is just showing some appreciation for the knowledge someone provides. You can see that if they get merited, they will feel privilege and do more.


I can say that your post is funny. Because I believe you have heard about where they said leaning never stops. However you say all this, I believe you know all the answers to yourself. Knowledge is something that any amount of it you have, you will still need more of. You can’t know anything in the world, therefore you must keep learning as far as you are leaving on earth, so therefore whatever someone has today, they will still be looking for more, especially when you talk about money. I hope you are aware that the richest man in the world is still looking for more money; furthermore, not only him, but many rich people are doing the same, so for your asking for more explanation about this, I think you already know that yourself.

People in nature, will never get satisfied. When they reach their goal, they will make another goal that's even higher than their previous goal.

Let's say I have a goal that I will reach $1000 profit before the end of 2023, and I achieved it, the next year, I will make another goal that I will reach $2000, then $3000 and so on, and so forth.

People will never get satisfied. People will never know the word "contentment". People will always think of a thing that's higher or even better than the previous one, and so does investing. You saw your friends continuously buying Bitcoin despite of them holding so much coins already? It's because they want to maximize the opportunity thus, they're continuously buying. The more money they invest, the more profits that they can get.

 There's this saying that "learning never stops" which means there'd always be a need to know more and for me the moment you stop learning is when you die so if we begin to ask how much knowledge is enough to satisfy someone, it would only be depending on the individual. Humans are inherently insatiable but there are those who have their limits while some don't.
 People tend to look for more knowledge probably because they don't want to get stuck in a particular time of knowing something, it's just like constantly being updated about something to help be in sync with the times.
 Imagine if the knowledge about something was stuck in the Stone age, I don't think we would have known all we know now and I think @Blackhatcoiner gave a perfect illustration about how this abundance of knowledge thing works; you get worshipped, you are seen as the light. So this alone will propel one to continually search for more.

Yes, man is often in pursuit of fulfillment. That's the way man is crafted. His nature is insatiable and that's why man has constant worries. He solves one worrying problem, he gets into another. It's an endless circle. Even while sleeping, man is also pursuing certain aspirations in the dream world; literally speaking.

That depends from what angle you look at it. I meant your opening comment there. This isn't to counter your point but don't forget that what makes for much for you may be little for someone else. Like we jocularly say in Naija that someone else's stipend could be another's networth. Those people you think are satisfied at that level they're because they "aren't searching for more actively", the little they've is someone's dream acquisition, you know. On my part, I don't crave that much but that doesn't stop me from dreaming big. That's what keeps a lot of people in constant pursuit, until our demise. Man must hit the streets until he's confined to work no more by illness or death. Everyone man has a need.

Its not that they/we are expecting merits its just a bonus if have given merits by others what is important here is we could create a valuable info or topic that could be discuss by anyone and learn from it. Merits is important also but its not as one sharing valuable information. Satisfaction on merits? Yes it is. Actually Im not sure who you talk about like posting for merits? As long as we are alive, true satisfaction will never be fulfilled. Because that's how humans must continue to live in pursuit of satisfaction. It's just that there are several different paths to achieving satisfaction. there are those who take the bad path and there are those who take the good path.

As I leaned bin my secondary economics about Lord's Robinson stating that human wants are insatiable so it's. The only thing that can end demand to get more  in terms of money, power, and knowledge is death, human have so many beliefs such as the more knowledge the more exposure while in money the more the money the more fame and healthy living. One thing about money is that once you have 10k it will generate problem of 20k it broadening your view for more coursing you demand more.therr is a popular saying that for one to succeed he most hi for knowledge, the day one stopped reading or search for knowledge he cut of success, cutting off success can only be in the grave because no human is ready to cut off success while alive.

It is true that people always want more and are never happy with what they have. This can be seen in examples like rich and powerful people who still want more. It is also true in the academic world where people always want to learn more and be recognized. The same thing happens online and with cryptocurrency where people with a lot of money still want more. Knowledge is power but humans can't learn it all even if we spend 100% of our time learning everything we want since knowledge the can be learned is endless and still increasing day by day. This is why we humans has learning satisfaction, totally everyone has a different learning levels.

About your friends, I think that it's not that they are not satisfied with their current money on their wallet, I believe that they just don't want to let go this the opportunity of buying bitcoin at this price point and still earning from trading at the same time. It's not about the satisfaction, it's about taking the opportunity that is laid out and waiting to be grabbed.

satisfaction depends on everyone's planning. If what you get is according to your initial plan, that will be enough to give you satisfaction.
but in trading and investment, satisfaction will not stop at one point. When satisfaction in one plan has been achieved, then it creates another satisfaction target. Satisfactory achievement of targets does not necessarily make someone stop. because in essence, everyone will try to continue to grow and develop.
if you more often achieve your satisfaction target. it will make your grades better.
