I just want to advise you to analyze the tokens that you think are good for your own future, because if you just follow the advice of others every time you want to trade, in the future you will only have trouble yourself if you want to trade on the tokens that have just appeared on coinmarketcap. at least by analyzing the token itself it will also be good for yourself in the future, on the other hand you get benefits, you can also gain knowledge.

if you are talking about LONG TERM INVESTMENT you should not care what will happen in the certain time because all you must care is when you decide selling your holding.This means forget about the coin for the duration of your holding time and comes back after that time.
