Hi, I'm new to here. So just want to ask your help or guide.

I have currently 800$ worth BNB. These are got from NFT that I sold back months ago that I got from airdrop. So what i need to know should I convert it to stable coin or should I invest it for bitcoin? Because my friends say that BNB don't have a future anymore. So I'm fully worry about this.

BNB is perfectly fine, as long as the exchange doesn't face any controversial issues like what happened with those giant crypto exchange who mysteriously collapsed in the midst of it's booming state. If you want to be more secure and safe from this kind of untoward events, then Bitcoin is a better option. Both are in a low price currently, so you don't have to worry much about it's long term profit.
Hope you make the right decision.

It seems that you currently don't have any plans with your BNB holdings. It would be hard for you to just tangle up on someone advise. We all have different views on every coins in the market and I know that there are hardcore BNB fans out there that will disagree with your friend statement. You should do your own research and see it on your own regarding to the future of BNB and what kind of things they will do in the future. I personally have a small number of BNB in my portfolio but I do have it in case I need it or able to sell it on a good price. It doesn't affect my portfolio that much so the risk losing my whole portfolio is low. It is a different case from you since I believe that you only have BNB in your possession. The biggest advise that I can tell you right now is to just buy bitcoin.

BNB having no future is the last thing everyone that knows the platforms so well would think of, I think BNB hardly collapsing for the simple fact that it's the exchange that has biggest reserve fund until this moment so I'm really doubtful that they gonna collapse, but if you're not so sure then you could simply make some diversification if your investment protfolio that way you gonna be safe if binance really gonna collapsing, just invest the rest in btc, eth, and other coins like ADA and polygon.

Sell the BNB and you do half/half.

Half for stable coin and half for buying bitcoin now. The purpose of having half is like being prepared if ever the price of bitcoin goes down again so you've got an immediate money to buy.

But if not, then at least you're able to buy at its current price regardless of what will be the price in the future. Whether we like it or not, investing in bitcoin is like the safe haven of the market when most projects are we're uncertain about.
The growth with bitcoin have got good percentage against BNB, but the year is predicted to have a bull run for altcoins. I'm not sure of the reality. If that is to happen, then it is good to have BNB. Among the list of altcoins, BNB is one of the potential altcoins that is predicted to grow good and reach new ath. However market manipulation too is found with BNB for which bitcoin can be considered as the safe haven in all situation.
It is a matter of assurance that whenever there's the bull run for altcoins, that's because there's bull run for bitcoin. That'll happen and it has been seen before so it's a cycle that we know of.

But the thing is, we don't know when it will come.

It's said that BNB is good but just like any issue has come for Binance then for sure it is finished. These altcoins that have been in a good situation could be in a worse state if something goes wrong.

If you believe in Bitcoin you can sell and buy Bitcoin. The price of Bitcoin has also risen quite rapidly recently. I think the future of BNB is not bad, it is one in my planned portfolio, I will always choose it for now, and it does bring me profits.
In my opinion it would be nice to convert BNB into bitcoin, it doesn't have to be all you can determine the percentage to convert to bitcoin and some remain to be BNB. Bnb is one of the coins that I also have, but I think you should also own bitcoin, especially if you intend to hold it for the long term, I highly recommend it. Most people are now almost flocking to own bitcoin, they are doing various strategies to own it, and the popular strategy now is DCA.
That's my advice with coins you should hold on to, so do your best.

    - I just want to ask you first, you mentioned that you got that amount from the NFTs that you participated in that you only got from the Airdrops in which you became a participant. What airdrops did you participate in?

Now, as for what you are asking about what you should do with its selling price, if you are a long-term investor, of course, you should use your bitcoin as an investment. But if you are worried about this decision, you can divide the 800$ into the 3 coins that you bet to invest, it's that simple so that you don't have a hard time with this matter.

There are good airdrops for those who own safepal hardware wallets.

You can safely hold on to your BNB. Because BNB is a very good coin for me to invest in. I have been investing in BNB for a long time. When I invested in bnb I bought my bnb for only $55. Then I hold for a long time. I didn't even sell when BNB reached 689 to hold for a while. I was waiting for 1000 dollars. Since then the market has started to decline. I still have 14.5 BNB which I am holding. Here I am not worried about investing in BNB. To me BNB assignment is the best over all other coins which is why I have invested in BNB. But you can keep investing in BNB because BNB is the best coin to invest.

You can keep your BNB but I'm not optimistic about your friend if you can keep him. Seriously, Binance is standing tall at the top and don't even think it will collapse just like that. That is more than enough for you not to worry about such a thing.

You should have asked your friend why he thinks BNB doesn't have a future. For sure he is just giving a wild guess.

BNB is a good coin, but I wouldn't suggest you go all in, especially when it's tied to a crypto exchange. If Binance collapses like Mt. Gox or FTX, you could lose it all in an instant. They often claim BNB is decentralized, but most of the nodes are still under Binance's control. For BNB to become truly decentralized, Binance needs to cede control of the network's nodes.

You're going to have to decide for yourself whenever it's worth the risk holding BNB long-term, or choose a safer alternative that puts decentralization/censorship-resistance above all else. I'd say both Cardano (ADA) and Ethereum (ETH) are much better alternatives to BNB. Right now we're in a bear market, so we can't expect BNB to reach a new ATH anytime soon. Maybe it will go to $1k during the next bull market? Just my opinion Smiley

your friends I'm sure you'll regret saying that BNB has no future, and you better not leave BNB at this time especially since the price of BNB is really very cheap,
look at the job Binance CZ's CEO is doing, yes he's really putting his energy into proving that Binance really has a high level of credibility when its competitors have had a bad year,
yes HOLD BNB was a very good decision.
Holding the good projects brings in gold profits but holding projects that don't have promising future will only bring loss. Holding BNB because it have a promising future, similar to Bitcoin and Ethereum. BNB is the native coin of binance and Changpeng Zhao who is the CEO putting in everything inother to improve his exchange and projects. He have one of the good pairing teams and they're working entirely inother to achieve their goal. BNB will increase in value and market cap, just a matter of time but holding with extremely high patience will triggered profits at the end.

It's up to you. But for me, during these times, I am more into Bitcoin, I rather hold Bitcoin than altcoins. You can convert it to Bitcoin if you want.
Take note also that as long as Binance Exchange is here, BNB will be on top. Binance Exchange is the top 1 exchange right now plus their Binance Smart Chain (BSC) which already got high TVL after Ethereum.

The decision will depend on our target profit. You should set a target goal when it comes to profit. As for me, BNB is still a good option when investing in altcoins. BTC is a top choice but we can also invest in potential top coins because they can also be profitable when the market reaches a good situation. We all know how BNB could reach a promising value over time.
During the last months the FUD exchanges had to suffer was immense, and there was no exchange that had to endure this the most than binance, and in a way this was to be expected as the collapse of FTX was that traumatic for the market participants, however for as long as binance can remain solvent then the BNB token should be a good investment, still it is important to be alert and be ready to take a loss if it seems binance is in trouble.

If a seller is in profit of his assets then he can sell it or whenever he wants. But it is quite different for holders who want to be bullish with BNB. In December 2020, when BNB was trading at just $30, it turned bullish again within few days. We saw that it peaked in 2021 when the price of each coin was around $686. BNB is now at $296 due to the current market being bearish again. If the market is bullish in the future, it can stay at approximately $1500-$2500. So I think holding BNB is appropriate with the time.

Before luna and ftx crash I would tell you to hold onto your bnb but after those unfortunate events has taken place it is very clear to me that no project in the crypto space can be trusted other than btc, the reason why is-  btc is totally out of the control of anyone, the fear of it crashing as a result of the greed of the ceo is not possible.

I can understand why your friend should advice you to sell, bnb is centralized and guarantee that what happened to the two aforementioned won't happened with it is absent. For your peace of mind, I will advice you to sell but if you are willing to take the risk, you can hold your bnb.

Last day, BNB success breakout until $300 and seems has potential make new higher price, don't worry for keep holding BNB as your portfolio assets because have great potential recovering back above $400 until $600 in few months later. Bitcoin success wake up last day and BNB have bigger impact keep going on until $300.

During not problem face by Binance as the exchange market with bad news or investigating by SEC, I think have potential for Binance become worth for long term holding. Become long term holding you can forget with your portfolio assets and open back later two until three years if you want to be long term holding.
