You can simply make a new alt account, sign the address that your original account posted here, and have irrefutable proof that you're the actual owner.

This is an alt account for my future service an I am the owner of 16nt9B5PB8v8FRmJu2tNj3mgwbFBSFSCqk as of 2015-03-28 00:00 UTC

When posting my address for the first time should I include a signed message or just the bitcoin address?

It's up to you. An address is all that is really needed (and someone to quote you). But for better proof (should something happen down the line) it may be an even better idea to sign a message and that way provide another level of proof.

I guess I will spam my signature just one time on this thread as a witness. Per armory, your signature is valid Wink

Sometimes when I am posting, my browser randomly starts putting my text were it is not intended and this is not always noticed.

Cool.  Thx for clearing that up, Quickseller.

Why does your quote say

when it should be
1CDyx8AUTiYXS1ThcBU3vy4SJWQq6pdFMH

Did anyone else notice it says "stake"? I'm sure I read this thread a few days ago and thought it said "state".

I read steak, but that's probably just my beef obsession kicking in.
