Done! The OP Is Updated!
So everything on the OP now is exactly what we should have for the new wallet? And will we have to download a new blockchain or anything? Also is the .conf file on the OP the one that we should be using now? Thanks in advance Wink

Alright so am I to understand that the new wallet version is mandatory and that as soon as block 2500 hits that the POS will start?  Also with the new wallet do we need a new .conf file or do we need to delete anything? Will our wallet.dat from the last version still be compatible and our coins will still be there when we load the new wallet? I'm just curious because I actually lucked out and hit some coins for once lmao wouldn't want to lose these ones as well lmao.  So pretty much what I am asking is when we start the new wallet version 2.1.2 will we have to start a whole new %appdata% roaming folder for this wallet or will it be compatible with the one we have going right now for wallet version 2.1.1? I would like to know ASAP so I know what to do Smiley Thanks and Keep your chin up Dev you're working hard buddy Smiley

You should wait a few minutes - he fixed PoS and is probably building the updated Windows wallet right now.

That being said, you should use whatever new addnode he lists with the release and make sure you're on the 2500 block blockchain. I have a copy that I can upload once the wallet it released, if anyone needs it.

Wallet.dat files should be compatible, even if your chain has gone over 2500. Simply type repairwallet in the GUI wallet's console and it'll clean up the mess (once you're on the proper blockchain).

Edit:
addnode=182.56.93.41
is already running the new wallet

Changes in Version 2.1.2

- Splash Screen Text is Now Readable
- PoS Block set to 2500
- Fixed Staking Miner
- Memory Overflow Fix
- IRC May not Work

Link: https://github.com/niitassin/XNAPoS/releases/tag/2.1.2

Staking is still probably not going to work properly because nWeight is not properly calculated. That is why the wallet always displays "Not minting because you don't have mature coins" - that message is only displayed when (!nWeight) is true. Since it is returning as true all the time, that means the reported nWeight must be 0.

As such, the problem lies in GetStakeWeight2(), but I have no idea how you changed the algorithms or how it might affect this. It might not just be an issue with the GUI, or it might be an issue wherever GetStakeWeight2() is used to calculate POS reward or check blocks or something. But nWeight == 0 is not a good sign.

In unrelated news, there are new Linux sources and binaries for 2.1.2.0. Sources can be found here: https://github.com/feldenthorne/XNAPoS. Make sure to check the changes I made before compiling, but they focus on restoring the IRC/Web window and giving it correct URLs. IRC still won't work, though, because there is no freenode.net IRC channel for the coin, as far as I know.

If you can't compile the newest source (and I recommend trying), you can download these binaries: http://www.mediafire.com/download/fch7oi5ygelg266/DeOxyRibose_qt_headless_2.1.2.0.7z

Remember to scan for viruses! It's not worth it to trust other people's binaries with your money.

Ya is it still POW going on right now? I'm just curious because I'm still getting hashes for mining coming through in my getmininginfo in the console? I thought that the staking began after block 2000???

I don't have

I hope the POS will start at 2000+ block
Does anyone even have staking weight yet? I'm just curious because I'd love to know how big of a reward some people get from the staking Smiley

Ya I don't have any weight yet either which is why I was curious if someone who had the wallet early on in this process might already have some staking weight going and once block 2000 hits they will make a nice mint off their first reward Wink
