K I need to know if I'm on the right chain or not I have 525000 coins and I'm on block 1431??? So is my wallet synced to the proper chain right now?

He just changed main.h to extend POW to 1800 blocks, so presumably the 1426 chain will be the correct chain.

Regardless of whether or not the wallet GitHub works for you, the coins that you have mined are currently safe so long as you don't lose your wallet.dat file. Even if you end up on a forked blockchain, you can later resync to the correct blockchain and all your progress up until the fork will be saved (though you may have to checkwallet/repairwallet in the debug console).
