Can we use any QR app to read the data on that QR code or it must be a decent related app for the scan to be successful?

Hello, studio1one!

The QR code may be scanned by any mobile app that supports QR scanning. For instance, we used the iPhone's native camera app and it worked like a charm Grin

All of you sweet-toothed chocolate lovers out there—this one goes out to you! 🍫

We're proud to announce our latest partnership with award-winning chocolatiers, Lyra! 💪

Lyra makes delicious products of the highest grade, ranging from savory hot chocolate, delectable spreads, and big or small, milky or dark, fruity or nutty chocolate bars—the choice's in your hands, or shall we say mouths? 🙃

Find out more in our latest blog, DECENT and the Chocolate Factory image loading...

It is good to see a coin actually implementing a utility of the blockchain. There are many coins attempting to do the "where does this food come from" into the blockchain and if you successfully did this with Lyra then good for you.

Is it possible to post the QR code here for two different types of chocolates so that that those that do not have access to Slovakian chocolate can see how the system works by scanning the codes?

Hello, jc12345!

Thank you for your inquiry!

Below, you can find an image of a Lyra Gallery chocolate bar with a QR code. This code will link you to an overview of all production steps that particular chocolate bar went through. Scan away! 📸

Greetings from DECENT! image loading...

Wow this is actually amazing to see it in practice. Thanks for posting the QR code. On the page in the link it says that the chocolate was produced on Sep 21 2019 as 3 from 17. Is that chocolate number 3 from batch 17? Also, the story that follows contains specific dates for each manufacturing step. Is this info the story of this specific chocolate bar 3 of 17 or at least the batch of raw materials it was made from?

Thank you, jc12345! We really appreciate your enthusiasm Smiley

To give you a couple of facts:

– All milk chocolate bars are made collectively in a single day—meaning, all of them are of a single batch.
– The number “17” signifies that 17 milk chocolates were made on that particular day (i.e., they are of the same batch).
– The number “3” is that particular chocolate bar’s (the one you scanned) exact order in which it came out of the batch.
– De facto, all chocolate bars of the same batch will show the same details in steps 1–14, with the only different step being the “Wrapping” process (step 15).

Hope this helped to answer your inquiry.

The team at DECENT wishes you a great day! image loading...

Ok thanks. After Lyra, what is next. Which products will you be doing the food blockchain for? Do you maybe have a roadmap for this specific functionality? I have heard a lot about the fish industry as an example with past attempts at link1 and link2. However the site for Earthtwine does not want to open and maybe they closed down so I dont think that ever went live.

Hello, again!

We'll be adding some of our new features and services to the website soon. We'll make sure to keep you all posted. Thanks!

Not sure if using it as payment system for unrelated systems to dcore is the best way to go. I would rather see why this is revolutional then using it as just another payment system, that is probably right dumped back in the markets for "real money" after the retailers get those coins.

With the value of most coins being in the toilet because of the huge dump that happened to alts, it's only a matter of time now before things start to turn around. It already has for Bitcoin and soon it will for DECENT and many others.

Also it makes me happy to still see the trolls are here, DECENT is doing something right.

Chocolate You’ll Know By Each Block: Blockchain-Traced Lyra Gallery Enters World Market: From harvesting to packaging, three Slovakia-based companies, Lyra, 3IPK and DECENT, work together to trace the chocolate production process exclusively with blockchain.
https://bitcoingarden.org/chocolate-youll-know-by-each-block-blockchain-traced-lyra-gallery-enters-world-market/

Being a prime chocolatier is no easy feat—especially if you value quality over quantity. This is what Lyra’s director, Karol Stýblo, understands as he makes more than sure he personally knows every farmer he buys his beans from—and he wants his customers to get to know them, too.

On September 24, at the “3IPK Blockchain & Industry 4.0 Forum” event in Bratislava, blockchain technology-focused companies, 3IPK and DECENT, together with an award-winning chocolate manufacturer, Lyra, publicly announced an official partnership to develop a genuine “from-production-to-table” tracking system powered by DECENT’s proprietary blockchain platform, DCore.

Protect What Is Yours: DECENT’S Digital Proof Securely Logs Ideas, Patents, Documents and More
https://bitcoingarden.org/protect-what-is-yours-decents-digital-proof-securely-logs-ideas-patents-documents-and-more/

How does one protect an idea, anyway? It is a cryptic concept—yet vital when it comes to intellectual property and product funding rounds.

It is this intellectual right which DECENT, one of the world’s first blockchain companies, plans to preserve by launching Digital Proof—a service that promises to protect ideas from theft by protecting their creation with cryptography.

The platform takes legal documents from the analog to the digital—instantly proving the “when” and “where” of any given document. This helps to protect pitching entrepreneurs, remove legal variabilities and create a safeguard on a global level.

Digital Proof records are then available in court disputes to demonstrate document creation—something which is increasingly used by progressive global jurisdictions to prove ownership. For example, China’s Supreme Court ruled last year that evidence authenticated with blockchain technology is binding in legal cases.

By being stored on blockchain—an immutable and transparent digital ledger—all recorded certificates are time-stamped with precision and stored permanently....

The price of dct has been manipulated by some people.
Only 100,000 dcts are currently under $ 5,000, but that's enough to be raised or dumped by tens of percent.
They deliberately sell or buy large numbers of dcts to manipulate their prices to increase their coin count. However, this team's marketing is ineffective at all.
What we can just do is buy dct when it's cheap.

DECENT will be within the first 5 dominant currencies of the blockchain ecosystem between the years 2020-2023 Cool

Why? What does it have that the competition hasn't? I am seriously asking because i know it could have some speculative value but why would it be even in top 50?

I made a conscious decision not to stay too long in Decent. I was excited about the publishing platform, however in the end I sold not long after launch. @341 sats currently I too think $2 is too optimistic. A lot must happen before that price can be reached.

Remember these words:

When the price falls very fast it will rise very slowly and when the price falls slowly over time it will rise very fast.

The price of a cryptocurrency can fall slowly in several years and in just 3 days recover everything lost  Shocked

For many things. To start the transactions in DECENT are much faster than in bitcoin and ethereum. DCT supports up to 2000 TPS and in the future they will be more. In just 5 seconds you have confirmed each transaction. In Ethereum it takes more time and in Bitcoin much more. Like Ethereum, it has its own blockchain and its own NODE in Microsoft Azure. DCT is not a token, it is a cryptocurrency with its own protocol where, like ethereum, it can be easily built. Dcore (DECENT) is not yet well known to the general public but gradually it will be among developers who will see a great opportunity to build on top of their blockchain. It is a project with enormous growth potential both at the business level and in revaluing its currency.

Dcore's mission is to build Blockchain’s Next-Gen by incorporating surrealism, impressionism and cubism into the hub made of savvy, creative and knowledge-hungry community.

RESEARCH:

scalability of blockchain
identification of serial and parallel processes
study of read / write ratio
impact of deduplication of software modules
network latency
federation
replication level for content delivery
transaction rate vs cost
study of blockchain genesis parameterization vs objectives
qualitative fine-tunning
different dynamic of blockchain vs frontends and API calls:
benchmark and test of various deployment scenarios
identification of bottlenecks
develop blueprints, build and display of blockchain technology via micro-computers:
e.g. 20-30 node setup
playbook setup
encompass academic driven network and community
quick start tutorial for academia / research / DevOps
deployment via preinstalled tools
deployment on micro-controllers via templates and orchestration
deployment on cloud services via templates and orchestration
prepare ready to use use cases
consensus mechanism / puzzle game

research enclave / oracle approach
research voting or market settlement approach
explore sustainability models for blockchain autonomy

Because its developers have millions of free coins. Its way of financing has been all the bitcoins captured in its ICO phase and all the millions of DCT coins that have remained FREE. So when they need more dollars they just have to sell more free coins. They will be getting richer and you getting poorer  Grin Grin Grin

If you are correct and that's the only reason that the price is falling, it should mean that there's nothing wrong with fundamentals and this price action is only temporary.
But can you track me the address that the devs are holding their free coins? And "millions" is pretty vague sum. Any specifics?

Do you know the exact amount of coins that the developers stayed?
If you answer that you do not know it is that you have not read their distribution of the coins...
