It won't work sorry, we can still see through you, it would have been more effective with a sockpuppet account but you could only fool the very newbies.

What won't work?

Could you step back and ask yourself why I didn't use a sock?

I am but a speck in the world and on top of that I am posting a thread that next to no one in the world is going to read.

Please tell me what I have posted so far that is false about Monero or biased in such a way that would harm Monero?

Well, I think like saddam said the sockpuppet option was pretty much exhausted already, it doesnt work anymore but if you are the guy who shorted you are desperate enough to not care about it and post with your own account thinking this forum has any perceived reputation associated with accounts left so you try concerned posting that in my short time reading this forum was too already exhaustively tried against Monero (someone even made a music video about it), so you first posted pictures of the XMR market highlighting how it is still mainly traded on poloniex (good exchange but I see the point) and has an inflationary emission (which is a plus in my humble opinion), how the youtube and facebook/twitter has few likes because he community couldn't care to buy some hundreds or thousands fake and such. So I would say you are pretty much in contained desperation that nothing can take down Monero anymore not even a bear market with heavy shorts. I'm waiting one of you guys wear a Monero t-shirt and behead someone in public square next but I'm afraid this too will have the opposite effect.

Of course I could be just seeing things and being paranoid (99% sure I'm not) but I woud not be part of this if wasn't remotely fun Wink

carry on.

No you and your band of merry men have seven threads up right now. Seems you all spread yourselves a little thin :/

Actually make that eight threads. Finding which is the 8th is left as an exercise for you.

There is a difference between those threads and this one.

In this thread we are talking about the state of Monero.

Trying to stick with facts like current price, market cap rating, node count, and other factual stats.

Why isn't this the same topic as the Monero speculation thread? Everything that you have noted in here is something that would be of use in that thread that has already been created...

indeed, i don't view this as reverse trolling. These are the facts.

and regarding my other post, i used the wrongs word... it should definitely be here, but it should also be recorded somewhere else, thats all. But yeah I guess google cache and archive will hold it for a bit.

Another XMR thread? I think having so many threads almost looks bad - like XMR is trying too hard here. I actually hold some XMR, but you guys bombard this section with endless threads.

This thread is most likely an example of "reverse trolling" in effect.

Reverse trolling: creating forum posts that are over the top in their promotion of a coin, or providing redundant information that would be more suited for the ANN thread (like this one), in order to discredit the community and make them look spammy.

The tactic is nothing new, in fact it was much worse in late 2014 during the BCX fiasco with characters like MoneroMan88.

Thats exactly what this thread is but it should be noted that success breads jealousy and one just need to see Bitcoin and Buttcoin to draw a parallel between venomous hatred and market penetration.

tl;dr This is good for Monero Grin

I guess this must be the thread for passive-aggressive Dash holders.

Pretty much this, Alpha goy is a known Dash shill and bagholder.. he feels the need to blame his heavy losses on other coins

And there's a possibility he's the guy who shorted Monero as mentioned in the speculation thread.

Can't all of you see it?  OP shorted Monero at Polo.

Someone actually did today as it is stated in Specualtion thread. But i dont understand why would this post help OP lower Monero price?

He's trying to show the people what's up with Monero.  Which, doesn't really look all well and rosy right now.  It is actually a good short imho.

my assumption on the poloniex thing is that, for whatever reason, poloniex became the goto place for monero volume. Poloniex was not the first monero exchange, and I'm pretty sure poloniex existed before monero existed, and poloniex has enough shitcoins on there that I don't think their game is Monero. I think there game is making money. These exchanges are making a killing, regardless of the coin. I think polo is like 0.2% on each trade, each way. And now polo has lending (shorts or options or puts or whatever), so now they're making money on money that you don't even own, but then you owe it to them.

so, I don't think there's any hard relationship between monero and poloniex besides the fact that poloniex has proven to be a somewhat trustworthy, reliable, and dependable exchange. Of course, they burned a few bridges and lost some volume with the whole KYC thing they pulled with 2 days notice.

but the short answer, i'm pretty sure monero is the default load because the volume of xmr is the highest in the polo market.

and documenting the state of monero is cool. I'd recommend hosting elsewhere though, somehow. Maybe hash it and store it in a blockchain. Hosted forums can go down, get hacked, lose data, etc.

edited to add, I see this was pointed out above. whoops.

There is no arrangement I have ever heard of, if that is what you are suggesting.

Poloniex is Monero friendly because Monero was the first coin to give them big volume, I believe they were also the first exchange to adopt Monero after the original Cryptonote Exchange in early 2014.

^ Did you short Monero?

You seem to be very interested in my coin positions.

That's because I think you're a good trader.

It's always good to have something to look back upon in the future

agreed - when its nothing but a distant memory we can all look back and laugh.
