I have a verified paypal account which I haven't used in well over ten years when they froze it because I used it for receiving winnings from a fantasy football league I was in. I had to jump through all kinds of hoops to have it unfrozen so that I could get my funds out of it. It was a royal pain in the ass.

Like I said, I haven't used it since and I never will again. FU, paypal.

Ironically, nowadays you can now use paypal for fantasy football.

I have PayPal account. I use it for shopping on EBay and I don't understand what is wrong with that. I was reading other comments and people wright like they don't use it anymore since the time they introduced with bitcoin. Maybe cause of I'm newbie here, but I don't see sense here in this question.

yes, I have a paypal account, but at this point I do not care of it and use it because I have a paypal account is not verified, it is very difficult to make it to a verified, even though I already follow the procedures in the set, but it never works. so, I better focus using bitcoin, it was better than I think paypal. because bitcoin does not need to verify something and very easy to use

I still have a PayPal account but never use it anymore. Once created when I thought I could maybe use it but most of time it was not necessary to use PayPal. But don't see the point to remove mine account so I will keep it for you never know where it's good for.

Yes, not so much by choice but because it is so widely used.  Some charities and online merchants I like only accept it.  I am hoping I can eventually leave PayPal forever and be dealing with only bitcoin and cryptos.

Everyone is waiting for the same but the fact is bitcoin is not accepted everywhere at a moment and that is the reason people are still using Paypal.

I don't. Never had one, I just don't really trust these e-wallet services, which is why I haven't used any till now but I dread I have to make myself use one of it because sometimes it so happens that I am in dire need of bitcoins (to bet on a sporting event for ex.) and my local guy from whom I usually buy from is empty as well and when I search on LBC, the easiest way I see of buying is by using one of these services. Though till now, I am avoiding all of them as their verification processes are too thick and lengthy.

I have a paypal account, but has not verified, with the little bit balance. Seriously I have paypal but I'am not interested to use it.

Same here I haven't used it yet but when I saw their procedure I found it very lengthy and complicated so I decided to stay away from it.

I use paypal many years ... use my paypal account to make purchases on eBay, transfer money to my bank account and more.

But a few months I came across very difficult situations ... "buy bitcoin with paypal"

honestly ... all asked me:

- ID issued by the government

- Print Screen from my account paypal

- Paypal account verified

- Selfie

- Declaration

So many things that it seems that those who purchase bitcoin with paypal is a terrorist? Cry

I gave up and went looking localbitcoin ... it was a nightmare. Cry

Localbitcoin buying high fees and asked for documents, but the more unacceptable is that the localbitcoin say my country ID is not accepted. Cry

Yes, I still have a PayPal account even though I use bitcoin. Although I do not use it so much it is connected to my bank account and debit card. It's still useful.

No, with bitcoin now we do not need paypal, as bitcoin is a more advance payment system for us and for any online business so now I think no one will need to use paypal. Paypal do not have that much attractive features which bitcoin has, and the other thing is that with bitcoin we are the owner of our money and with paypal we handle our money to some other party.

I have Paypal account and I still feel that is the best when it comes to online shopping as not many sites accepts bitcoin at a moment, and I use bitcoin basically for money transfers.

I still use PayPal for services where they have no Bitcoin option. A typical example will be Anti-virus subscription and renewals. I cannot find one anti-virus company willing to accept Bitcoin as a

payment option. If I find one, I will swap tomorrow... I still use anti-virus software on my family's computers, because they not familiar with Linux based Operating systems. I know you can buy AV

software with Bitcoin, but you cannot upgrade or pay yearly subscriptions with Bitcoin.  Roll Eyes

Yes certainly I do have a paypal account which is quite old and bank verified.

This is the only gateway I use to exchange my money in to fiat and get it transferred to my bank account.

Instead of giving away my bank account details to any random exchanger, it is always better just to give them an email ID.

Yes, I have both Bitcoin and Paypal account, and also many other payment processors like Solid Trust Pay, Payza, Neteller, Skrill etc.
I don't see reason why not?
Each of this accounts have certain rule and purpose in my different online businesses and I need them all.
Still many more online businesses accept Paypal than bitcoin.
Online gambling sites and casinos mostly accepts Skrill and Neteller etc.
It's like in offline world, you use different currency in different parts of the world.
