Wow that website started legit but i always was scared to use it. I guess the creator was tempted after a certain period. Keep your private keys safe!

That's so horrible. I've been scammed out of .10 BTC on two separate occasions (by two separate scammers), but I simply couldn't imagine losing that much BTC. Especially all at once.

Vanity addresses look impressive but unless i could create one myself i would never trust another company to do this for me.

There is just too many stories of people loosing money from vanity addresses they had someone else create for them.
You could generate one yourself i believe with some old mining equipment.

is there a way to change the privat keys or something?

They claim that they dont hold the private keys but in reality they do. Its not hard to import it and wipe the account clean so a password or anything wont protect you. Bitcoinvanitygen is a scam site and has been for quite sometime now.

Or he just now saw you got 2.8BTC, Still it's a shame for a such website to steal money but i can not understanding how they can take your money if your wallet is password protected and thr website claims they do not save any of your data, well now we know we should avoid them!

When my computer got hacked, I had 2.8 bitcoins in my wallet.  The hacker took 2 and left 0.8, worth about $500 at the time.

Maybe they feel a little bit of compassion?

better you make it offline, i made more than 50 address offline mode, use CMD and never get any issue.

Couple years ago my friend has lost his bitcoin too by using its services, but i used wallet BTC containg name generate by my computer and it is safe.

I looked at the transactions and was unable to find anything of useful value. The address that the hacker/scammer spent from is what appears to be a vanity address and based on what you changed the title of this thread to, I am going to guess that you probably "purchased" a vanity address from bitcoinvanitygen.com, which is a known scam site.

Based on how long you have been using that address and how much you have kept in that address in the past, I suspect that whoever is behind that scam site will retain a copy of the private keys they provide you and will not automatically sweep the btc that you send to the vanity address(es) that you buy from him. I would guess that the hacker/scammer periodically checks the balances of the various addresses that he has generated and if the balance is above a certain threshold then he will manually create a transaction to spend to an address that only he controls.

It is possible that the hacker/scammer made a mistake when creating the transactions that stole your money and accidentally spent less then the entire balance.

I wont actively monitor these addresses, however if I stumble across any of these addresses again then I will know who they belong to.

I would suggest that you copy/past and/or type of the whois information from their website so anytime that someone searches for that name/address/phone number this thread will eventually show up.

I looked into the bitmarket.io situation when it was unfolding and was not able to find anything that I believed to be useful. I will check again tonight and will PM you if I can find anything, but I doubt that I will.

Would you please explain me how i can generate my own new vanity wallet? Or is there any safe way for me to replace my private keys and keep the one i have for now? I love my wallet adress and would love to keep it if i have a safe way to do so!

I would run this on a root server is this possible to generate my own or i will agree to pay a bit for a secure service from trusted members!

Sorry to hear but this is quite a tough lesson to learn as I'm sure you put a lot of time and effort into generating the revenue from your sales into the address(es).

I always recommended that you (or anyone for that fact) don't use these vanitygen websites to generate addresses that you actually use and I can't believe this happened!  

I'm still generating addresses via vanitygen on my unix box, and only I have access to those keys.

However i wonder if you maybe just got infected i used bitcoinvanitygen for quite a while now and never any problems so far, please double check your computer to make sure and confirm 100% it's a scam/theft from them!
