I will never do that, if someone is in need of money then I will pay him cash but I won't donate my bitcoin to anyone.
I think people who have committed donations would never say that they make a donation because they do it with sincerity ?
so they will not say too much about it Cheesy

Yes! i did it while playing Primedice. Everytime i won something big, i tip randomly on the chatbox. Thats the place where i only donated someone. I haven't donated to a person from my wallet directly to his/her wallet.

I would, but I'm not sure about how to ensure it would be tax deductible.

Once I invested in bitcoin doubler site without reading their FAQs.
That was my first investment to bitcoin doubler. So I started with the minimum.  Tongue

When the plan matured I was waiting for my payment.
But no payment came after 2 days of maturity, Than I checked their website to learn more.  Angry

There was written,
Below 200k satoshi, the deposit will be counted as donation.  Angry

So without knowing anything by myself, I made a donation to that company.  Grin

Yesssss! I made a donation.  Shocked

Right!

Bitcoin solves the problem of minimum donations due to credit card or paypal limits.

I just meant enough to cover the transaction fee!!!  LOL

I want to make a donation.
whats the minimum donation can be made at above site.

Try it and see!

There does not appear to be any minimum.
I would be surprised if someone thought it was a good idea to have a minimum required amount on donations to an organizations. It's probably more "profitable" for the organization to say "donate whatever you want" instead since it makes it look less like the organization requires a specific amount of money to be given to them. Plus if I felt like donating a dollar or so every day, that's still money they get as opposed to me forgetting about donating.

Yes , Many times .
I am student , Part-time worker and have much spare money to donate . So whenever i withdraw my money from exchange i donate 5$ to 10$ to a (cancer) Hospital . After donating they send me an email confirming that they have received my donation.

Regards

Good to know that you donated money to hospital. However, it will be good if you email them asking them to accept Bitcoin as donation too - since you have donated many time. If they accept Bitcoin, I will also donate a few dollar worth of Bitcoin to the hospital. I believe the others who follow this thread will also do the same.

This thread is asking about donating using Bitcoin and not fiat (even if it is exchanged via Bitcoin), I believe.

Well actually when i exchange my bitcoins there is an option stating thdonatew much bitcoins you want to donte to hospital . So i just put the amount equivalent to 5$ say 0.01 and the exchange sends that amount to hospital.  I don't  think that hospital accept bitcoins . The exchange just converts the bitcoins to local currency and sends the money to hospital. The point is that i pay my bitcoins as donation  so i don't care whatever they do with bitcoins actually i made the donation with bitcoin right? . When i get message from hospital that they received my donation i get relief that my donation is in good hand , it will be used for good purpose.

Yes, I've donated in the past. It would be best to not trust any website that says donate something and it will be sent to a charity since most of them try to manipulate and none of those charities get to have anything delivered to them, but instead we should send directly to the charity of our choice (which some already are known). Unfortunately I've donated more to known individuals rather than some charities since I haven't been convinced if donated earnings would be put into good plan (a lot of manipulations goes with these types of cases).
