To be honest, I didn't understand the whole deal/situation above, nor is it my business, I'm just grateful to the forum members so far who are sticking with 20 + shipping.

That said, I'm looking for a set of 005's and I thank those who have helped me so far! Wink

I guess I should think of also trying for another set, since who knows, some buyers may not post any coins here at all, sadly, but that is their option too.

The best we can hope is that we can all work together for 20 flat + shipping per coin, no matter the number or type. I understand if some think a 001 coin is worth more too. but personally, I wouldn't feel comfortable asking more than even 30 USD for it - I'd rather see whoever is most seeking that set get it filled, TBH.

Thanks again wheelz for leveling the thread out. Good luck everyone, not on the prize (Lost me there wheelz... Bee Gees? LOL.. Cheesy

You too Lutpin, looking forward to reading what you got! Smiley

I have 2 coming but may only open 1
I should qualify that...

The original purpose was to resell them at a retail location.
As a result of this thread we were planning on including a note to this thread, so the buyer would be aware of the "something bigger" that goes on in the Physical Bitcoin scene.

Ladies and gents, the idea behind this series was to spark the trading scene.  Made the coins at a low cost and enough of them so many different people can ultimately collect a nice set for themselves.  Im sure no one meant any ill feelings towards one another.  If we can re-baseline the conversation towards positive trading activity that would be great.  I didnt intend to start anything other then a bunch of collectors/traders together to have a little fun with it.  It is up to people, what they want to do.  And to say the least the prize value is not that of a casascius coin or something like that.  I didnt want to discourage people trading, just the opposite.

Here is a hint of what the prize might be:

I'll personally stick with $20 per coin. That's already a 25%  premium Grin. I just love trading these coins and sending them all over the globe.

People should just chill out and be nice. I have sold 6 coins at $20 each plus shipping, and it would be beneficial to everyone if people would be honest about the coins they have. I don't really care about winning the prize, I just want to have a cool collectors set that says hey I finally competed a set. Because with the first series someone had both #003s that I needed offered on craigslist. I probably won't ever get them, but it's all good. You can't win them all.

Agreed, I will be selling a #1 coin for $25 not incl. shipping ($5 premium for a #1 coin  Cool) to a lucky user on this forum.  I've never completed a set of these coins in either series and am hoping I can this time around. The coins in this series turned out great and I'm glad to have already had the opportunity to trade with more than 3 users on this forum with these coins!

It's really interesting that you say this - "it would be beneficial to everyone if people would be honest about the coins they have" as I was having second thoughts about putting my final coin list up since others will now know what numbers I value.  It's a double edged sword in that aspect since someone could know they hold your key coin and want extra for it (Shocked) but I think it's best to your point if we trade fair, work together, and prove we have a good community of collectors here.

Note to traders:

Please do not try to be greedy / extort other users who are trying to complete sets.   Wink

I've gladly traded coins to users who are trying to complete sets but I'm not asking them for more than the $20-25 suggested trade value per coin and feel asking for way over that value (>$100) is not productive to the thread or community.

Others can chime in if they agree / disagree.  Smiley
Completely agree on that one , it's just a trading fun part of these coins , making it such with those ridiculous demands would be great but Really 100$ ? Smiley
Who was that ? lol
