I don't see how that would happen. Releasing info is far from scamming, I doubt anyone would tag someone for you based on this.
I do understand discretion is very important, but maybe these hollow threats should be avoided if you want to be taken seriously.
Instead make people place a down payment via escrow to prove they are interested...

• no PM, everything public (I don't care if people knows I bought an account)
• I'll try to contact the owner of the account and some forum admin to make sure it isn't stolen
• either you send first and wait for my investigation, or we'll use escrow
