So I'm not sure if anyone here has ordered a custom ASIC mining rig from MrBitCoin916 although I have and wanted to document the purchase process so that others that have heard of him know what to expect.  I am in no way saying that he is legit at this point but wanted to make others aware of what has happened so far.

I purchased a 50GHash ASIC from MrBitCoin916 on June 4th and have high hopes that I will get it soon.  This being said I have seen nothing besides a few images of the rig being tested in Slush's pool.  If anyone has any thoughts please let me know as well as anyone else who have ordered one (your inout would be greatly appreciated)

Below is the article that I have started and will add pictures and video of the rig (or lack thereof) as I have more to share:
http://www.brandonorndorff.com/bitcoin/mrbitcoin916s-50ghash-asic-bitcoin-mining-rig-order-experience/

Is this satire? It sure sounds like satire.  I really hope for for your sake that this is not a serious post.

SCAMMER

I bought a miner from him as well - a 50 GH/s miner using Paypal.  He uses the Refund Guarentee as a ploy to sweeten the deal.  Everything was screaming scam to me when I asked him for photos and he refused.  He will pass of a screenshot of a his "2.4 TH Rig mining along with a 50GH/S testing unit"  Brandon's article shows him using this name:   Arthur Bruce.  For being in Sacramento - his Telephone code is a Fresno Area code = first red flag.  His name doesn't match the paypal name on my reciept and details are different.

I was trying not to speak up and was willing to wait it out until my anticipated delivery date of 7-13 but after finding his info didn't match Brandon's, I've decided to speak up and point this out for what is...another scammer.

Welcome to my ignore list, scammer.

This fucking forum is so bad now, anyone and their dogs can make a site to scam.

I'm a scammer now? so your posting slanderous claims on something you know nothing about.
Yeah... Ty very much for the post comment.

More like scam baiter...

If you can't post a fucken picture of it, it's not worth anyone's time.  There are more and more options available to legitimate buyers from legitimate sellers who try to be as transparent as possible in the process.

BFL (Boy You're fucken Lucky) seemed to pull it off... after a year of watching two monkeys trying to fuck a football.

But what do you have?  A post, with some terms?  No photos, no provenance, no nothing.   Just a locked box without photos.

Post pictures publicly.  Tell us details about the hardware.

You have given us absolutely no information about your product.

I don't think you necessarily need a patent to protect your intellectual property.  Technology patents can be expensive but if you have something that unique, you probably should look into securing that IP.

I do think you have an interesting proposition.  I have some questions.

1.  How do you know the shockwatch sticker wasn't activated during shipping?
2.  What mining software works with your device?
3.  How do we know you're legit?  Any photos of the device with some screen shots?  It's hard to take someone with a relatively new account seriously with such an offer.
Yes i have pictures but im not posting on the post i don't nee people trying to scam with my images it looks bad on my part.
So if you send me a pm ill be happy to give you some images.
Also guiminer works fine and so does cgminer we will be releasing a mining software later on to all customers.
The sticker would be set to if was dropped it would take alot more then being moved around in a plain it comes wrapped in three layers of bouble wrap.
Its marked as fragile goods. So there should be no issue there.

Best leave the "fragile" stickers off.  I've shipped and received some expensive musical instruments and the ones that get damaged are the ones marked "Fragile".
