Here's how to do it correctly :
While you retweet, just add some text on the "Add a comment..." textbox. Now on your profile page, open up the tweet and in the address of your browser, you would see the retweet link from your account like this : https://twitter.com/GrumpyBitcoin/status/937930402831802368

No need to quote retweet, just retweet it the normal way.
