Is it using the blockchain to cryptographically help enforce copyright, or is it mainly acting as a token for paying artists like the older Popularcoin or ArtByte coins?
The tokens in our model serve a few purposes - To allow users in any Country to transact, to use as an incentive for taking actions within the system (redropping songs to followers), to compensate artists and power users, etc. As far as protecting a song, we are looking at implementing a more traditional method for that, such as - a technical piece that allows a user to license their song thru one of the global music licensing bodies inside our system at the time of dropping a song. This will give the artist an industry accepted protection. Our use of crypto will be very beneficial in all the other areas I mentioned here.
