My wallets are both on the wrong chain block. But can't find the : ~/Library/Application Support/Dogecoin on the mac either.

I know I'm kind of lame. But can you the pros give a hand to a lame guy like me ?

Appreciate. Thanks.

You rock buddy! I did find the folder with your tips. Something weird happen in the same time. I just reinstall the dogeqt wallet (of course I have try this before) and check the chain block and it was in the right one this time. Means that I'm fine now ?

Still have to figured out the case with my pc anyway.

3. type --> %appdata%
4. now you can search folder name "Dogecoin"

A litte help please! I am running Dogecoin.wallet on a Mac v1.4 which I upgraded from 1.3.  I am getting the infamous 11b error message, and I have 10100 Dogecoins in limbo.

Can someone tell me how to fix this error on a mac?  Thanks.

Forget it! This seems to have worked on my Mac:

Fixing the "11DbException" on Mac OSX:
Open your Finder
Look to the menu bar, hold "Option" on your keyboard, click "Go", then "Go to Folder"
In the window that opens, enter: ~/Application Support/DogeCoin
Optional - If that doesn't work, try ~/Library/Application Support/DogeCoin
Backup your "wallet.dat" file. This is where all your Dogecoin live. Do it carefully.
Delete the following files: "blk0001.dat", blkindex.dat", and the folder "database".
Restart your Dogecoin app, the error should be gone, and it will begin syncing.

I did this, but it still doesn't work - I think it is because I am on OS 10.6.8 - are there any updates to 1.4 planned?!!!

Dogecoins to Cryptsy is a mixed bag. I've had them go through sometimes in 1/2 hour, but twice it took 24 hours before they showed up.

I have a Mac and my wallet is in the wrong blockchain, stuck in 42000 whereas in dogechains.info it is at 68914.

My issue is that a can't find the : ~/Library/Application Support/Dogecoin

The new 1.4 wallet is installed, I can go inside the contents but no dogecoin folder to solve the problem with the blockchain. Need your help.

Hey folks, a little help...

Sent Dogecoins to Cryptsy using 1.3  yesterday, and they still have no record of it on their end.

Today, I went ahead and upgraded the wallet to 1.4 and made sure I was on the correct block chain.

Now do I need to be synched 100% for my Dogecoins to actually go out and register on the block chain?? My wallet shows the coins
going out with transaction detail and everything, though its not totally synched up yet.

Or is this a Cryptsy thing?  I sent a support ticket to them.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,
Stew

EDIT: Never mind, now they are showing up on Cryptsy.  Wonder if that wallet update did the trick.

What is gonna happen to the coins of my old wallet?? What about some Auto Payments in the lost chain? Am i going to receive them??

If the pool was in the correct fork, yes.

What is this, hardfork number 4? You guys suck at this whole coin creation thing.

doge still the most popular altercoin, the other coins must suck hard since people prefer the good o' doge

Prefer the good o' doge? Have you seen the price on exchanges, the steadily falling price i mean.

thats because of the autodumping my friend, believe me i don't do pumps and dumps, what I see in doge is a wonderful community.

Dont take me the wrong way, you might not, but dogecoin was super over inflated from the start......PUMP and now it is falling back to where it belongs.....DUMP
So the community is, if the community had the faith you do the pric wouldn't have dropped so far. In my opinion anyways

I cant sync with 1.4. I received this message:

http://www.dodaj.rs/f/3Y/uA/WT6tSiI/dodze-problem.jpg

I got the same and then it wouldn't start because the files or folders were locked/in use but it did start after a while, looked like it synced but then decided it had another 2000 to catch up with and after syncing those it gave me the same message again.
Now it just says out of sync but never downloads anything to catch up.

the C:\Users[your name]\AppData\Roaming\DogeCoin directory does not exist on my PC. I originally setup my wallet simply by dragging the contents of the zip file into a folder on a 2nd hard drive ( not the OS drive). The wallet software just ran and it has been working til now. There was no installation process that created the above directory. The wallet simply ran instantly as if copying the files was all the installation needed.

Why doesn't this exist on my PC? I replaced the dogecoin.conf in the wallet's present folder but I get the 11db error as well.

For XP,here:C:\Documents and Settings\*defaultuser*\Application Data\DogeCoin
