i published my site and created ad space and everything but i still cant find the option to bid on my ad space in the list.

After inserting ad code in website you have to click activate adspace. Click get code again and you will see it.

@Carlos L.
What is the order in which you list the sites?
Why a particular site is on page 1 and another in page 5?

sites are primarily ordered by views and then by clicks (click has some value in "views" - dont know how much click means in views)

its sad but i have to remove adbit.co ads from my site.

If Adbit.co dont want to host it. fine. at least redirect the banner to a link that i choose. i can host it .

i understand your point of view.
but plenty of mid-small-websites wont have a chance to increase their ranking with having empty ad-slot (unless they will pay 10K for any ad showing up). for some even 10K is more than enough. dont get me wrong, i appreciate adbit.co service but this gives some smaller publishers huge disadvantage..

I agree with this - with the "advertise on adbit" banner on there the click rate will be like 0.001% and a small site will look dead, a small advertiser could previously bid 1 satoshi and put a few banners on that will get clicks and raise click rate to 0.1% - to 1%.. something half viable...

I understand Carlos problem tho - 1 satoshi bids are unviable for him as a business.. I can afford to advertise at 10,000 satoshi, and I like using Adbit as a banner rotator and showing my own offers... but it isn't ideal..

BUT, my ideal solution to this is to offer a REMNANT traffic spot. One spot per Adsize. All just at 10,000 satoshi each. Any sites that would have the Adbit banner on previously then show on rotation the advertisers who take the remnant traffic spot. If 10 people then they get 10% each, if 100 people then 1%... If you get to 100 people in it then you know it's time to increase the price..
(* allow publishers to opt-OUT of it if they want?)

I'd bid on this, MASSIVELY, I'd take 3-4 spots, different banners, there wouldnt be any blank "advertise here" banners on anyones sites EVER.

10 minutes into my beauty sleep and I receive an alert the server is down. MySQL server panicked.

I've worked in technology long enough to know that there is a 5% chance that the server will go down when it is convenient for you to work on it, 95% chance when you are asleep. Tongue

New logo; what do you think?

Great. Can you please permanently ban http://hpshop.org/ and whatever IP address submitted that campaign, because they are constantly submitting pr0n 468x30s and the landing page looks IDENTICAL to blockchain's login page. It's basically trying to scrape/scam people's accounts by telling them that they've received 50 USD please log in to confirm.

Thanks.

Damn . it's a pish site

All my bids got wiped out o.O

and other thing.

Minimum bid can't be less than 0.0001 BTC.

So i can't setup my own banners to get clicks while nobody do bids?

bad move.

There was a spam of bids that were killing the server. Until I find a more efficient way to process bids it will have to be like this.

just pay for dedicated server if you cant handle this now.
more than 70% of websites on adbitco doesnt a have a single bid on them, now you took away the ability to increase their chance to get some as i doubt anyone will bid 10K satoshi on their own ads.
not happy about this at all

Look at it this way, you bid 10k / day on your own ad and you get 85% of that revenue. It COSTS Carlos to host those ads, even if they are to your own website. Paying 1500 satoshis a day to host your own ad is extremely cheap. It would probably be better to invest your energy into arguing about something.. else. Just saying.

I gave the same suggestion to coinadvert.com

that we can put a message that appears while we dont have a single bid on it.

Like if have bids

show bid

else

show fixed banner.
