This is very interesting but I am more amazed how some people are obsessed in finding the whereabouts of the man named Satoshi Nakamoto who founded the bitcoin network and just left years ago maybe having no desire to be exposed to the whole world. Let the man (or maybe a group of personalities) get the kind of anonymity and privacy he looked for. And let's all stop using his name and details for whatever we may have in our very creative heads.

Right, i've came across multiple threads saying they found Satoshi Nakamoto, or like who is Satoshi Nakamoto and it I think its too much already, he founded bitcoin network and it includes anonymity which is very popular to most people and in relation to this, if Satoshi wanted to be anonymous then I think we just have to respect that, besides if he really wanted to come out then he will but it seems that he is not a fan of the public eye that is why he is hiding, so lets not waste our time looking for someone who has no interest of coming out.

Signing your message is cute, but it gives no authenticity to your claims.  Roll Eyes  You say Satoshi have no access to his private keys, so it will be impossible for him to prove that he is Satoshi Nakamoto... right.  Tongue

Why would Satoshi reach out to you? Why would he suddenly want to come forward to take recognition for his work on Bitcoin, if he went into hiding for nearly 10 years?

Curious to know why you are doing this.  Huh

Satoshi did not reach out to me, personally, though he did challenge the community to 1000 btc [quite a while back, when McAfee started claiming to be Satoshi] to solve his puzzles. I just happened to solve one of them, alas, for no bitcoin award since I solved one very, very, late.

Regardless of this community's apparent disbelief, I ask that you all suspend it and put forth some good questions for Satoshi and vote for a member of the community that you would think would be the right person to discuss bitcoin with Nakamoto.

Humour us for a second, which 'Satoshi Puzzle' did you solve ?

P.S. I nominate Satoshi "Dorian" Nakamoto.  Cheesy

This guy is up to something.  Had gone dormant since 2012.

Post in January about how BTC is not the future and Ethereum and altcoins are.

And now says Nakamoto agrees to talk to him when he has gone so out of his way to stay hidden.

Color me a deep skeptic on the motives.

I don't understand the point in you opening a thread about knowing Satoshi whereabout so we can celebrate you or so you can some merits. For your information only the newbie, Feds and the institutions are obsess with that, cause if Satoshi want us to know him we would have so we the community have to respect his decision.

If we do remember,he do said if theres someone who would like ask something to satoshi into their next call.
If people would plan to tell something then he might give out some charge of it? What you think the possibility?

I do rather see this stuff as a shady act because its impossible for Satoshi to forget his keys.If someone doesn't prove
anything will always be a faketoshi on everyones eyes.

People of BitcoinTalk, Rejoice;

Satoshi has been found.

The Path to Satoshi is simple.

It is within this private key, though now that I understand how to find it I doubt any of you will:

I have talked with Satoshi over the phone, and he has told me he is open to me communicating with him (he said once or twice a month).

I invite the community to give me a set of our most important questions to him that I will present during our next call.

I also invite the community to select an ambassador who I will invite Satoshi to speak with in a way that is safe for Satoshi.

I do not know how he will feel about me posting this, and I get the impression he simultaneously desires recognition for what he has done, and is afraid of what that recognition could mean.

Satoshi is not Craig Wright. Satoshi does not still have the private keys to his wallets.

Long Live Satoshi,

Alas! I've been found out as Satoshi! Gasp! Despair!

I wonder what will happen to the Bitcoin Price when they find out that I am Satoshi....ie Searing...They will look at all my past posts on Bitcointalk and

find my real name, see my porn choices, and come to the inevitable conclusion that I ..ie Searing as Satoshi has 'doomed' Bitcoin to Tulips and worthlessness!

This, of course, was a hint on my profile avatar of 'clueless' since 2013. The massive disappointment/shame and such of seeing your Hero as mortal!

So don't ask, don't tell or this will end badly IF I am really found out!

Already several users have found several Satoshi's till date and this is one among them. Anyhow congrats on such a continued effort in the try of revealing identity of Satoshi. Almost every user of cryptocurrency knew he's the master and let us make his vision come true than spending time on finding him. Someday he'll reveal himself if he has got some plans.

Your analysis is very reasonable, but I don't care who Satoshi Nakamoto is, I only care about his product, how bitcoin and bitcoin will be used in practice. Thank you very much for this analysis.

I totally agree with you, but we humans somehow have that kind of attitude that wanting to know who did create a certain thing. The fact that until now some us are having debates on who created us. This kind of discussions can't be gone and will always be present. It is in our blood to have discussions like this, we are curious and we wanted to know, me myself also wanted to know.

Interesting analysis. But I don't really think this is needed in the crypto ecosystem. Ten years ago Bitcoin and blockchain technology were introduced to the world and the identity of the person or the team who developed it were not known. Nobody needed the identity of the creators to believe in this  amazing piece of technology. Why bother yourself trying to find the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto Huh This is not need...
