100k sent reports with 100% accuracy? All checked manually? That's quite a job, if you ask me.

Man, I can't express enough how thankful I am to people like you. Imo, this forum has become much cleaner since like 2-3 years ago, and it suspiciously coincides with your Date Registered. Smiley

Really, thank you for what you are doing.

Damn man one more super human thing unlocked by the flash machine of bitcointalk forum @Ratimov who is doing the effective work from his registration on forum with good speed.

But this is something insane that you have submitted over 100 ,000 reports within your short span of time and there are members who are also doing the work of submitting reports but you are one step ahead of them of which the proofs are with us shared by you.

The members who achieve something normal on forum have opened self congratulatory threads but you have done which is really commendable and worth sharing with us all. There are so many post made on daily basis and so many reports submitted out of which we forgot about to check these records. So best wishes to you ahead and hope to see the same work ahead of your journey.

The accuracy is legendary  Shocked 100% moderators should give you an award. You contribute greatly to this forum, the beginner guides, encyclopedia, library. Those threads are very helpful. Wow in two years you have revamped the forum. Who is Ratimov really? I can’t imagine the time it takes to do what you do. I can’t.. Thanks for working hard so the rest of us can enjoy btt

I think a new rank should be introduced instead, next to the Legendary. You probably already guessed what the new rank will be called? Which will be awarded at around 5000-10000 merits and make 50.000-100.000 reports. Grin

But seriously, I think that the nickname Ratimov has long become a household name (as Schumacher means a first-class race car driver) here.

100,000 manual reporting isn't an easy task, even if it means reporting every post in the forum(good or bad), many will still not achieve this fit. It is more evident that your dedication to the forum is unalloyed. Keep it up.
I recall there was when I do stumble on the one word comments, but I attest it has reduced drastically. I thought the shit posters have repented, not knowing that people are doing great works behind the scene.
Could Theymos introduce a badge or something of that nature showing the amount of spam, scam etc bursted by a user?
Ratimov, being an active spam reporter, I also know that this is not an easy job to do especially since we do it manually. I don't do it every day but I will do it whenever I have free time and I don't want to do this as a race but it's a good attempt to keep the forum clean. You really have invested a lot of time reporting spammers to moderators, 100K good reports are great proof of your great work and you currently deserve the forum badge as the best spam buster.
Congratulations detective Ratimov, 100,000 is some number, wow. Where are those damn reporter badges theymos?

The irony is that Ratimov has long been legendary without the Legendary rank for his contribution to the bitcointalk community and his nickname is, in fact, the very badge that you propose to award him. Everyone knows what merit the owner of this profile has. Therefore, additional badges will not change anything.

After going through the forum rules I had a clue of what low quality post are and how the forum kicks against it but I did not know there are forum users devoted to seeing that low quality posters get penalized. It's a good standard you are setting. I might not have known much about what it takes to make a post quality as a newbie but I'm so sure I wouldn't spam nor make a post out of content. I love your thread and your contribution so far

It takes passion for the forum and dedication to achieve this having 100,000 Reports means a complete commitment kudos to ensuring good content and quality posts only exist on the forum. To be frank you deserve every rank you achieve. The contribution so far is worth it. hopefully your good gesture will need assistance to filter through the forum to keep the contents there in reliable so it can be a number point of reference when issues related to crypto is raised. I would work on my computer to increase the stats by the end of the year.

Oh my gosh, that is hands down the best report record I have ever seen.
We all know that reports will not fix the roots of the problem. But they are one way to stand up and say that something must be done. The voice of the people is important to change things. Kudos to you Ratimov!

An incredible amount of effort and work done. One can only envy Ratimov's patience and purposefulness. Including his desire to make the forum better. Of course, Ratimov's aspirations are a good example to follow.

To my shame, there are exactly 0 reports on my account. I didn't pay attention to this issue at all and will have to fix it. It is unacceptable that people like Ratimov pull the whole load. The more users join this action, the better it will be for the community.

P.S. At this rate, the forum will finally become dependent on he's activity.  Smiley

This is something which would have got unnoticed if you had not posted about this. You are one of the important members who help the forum keep clean. Though you are not a moderator on the site but your work is essential for the smooth running of the forum. Keep up the good work. It will also inspire others to do the same.

Lol, that's impressive. What impresses me most of all is to reach that number of reports in that time with almost 100% accuracy (the web says 100% but it would be like 99.5%, impressive still).

This is crazy, how do you do it Ratimov? How much rest do you have in a day? I hope not only 2-4 hours.
There are 101K+ reports you've done so far and 100K of them are good reports. Never thought you've done it easy enough, it really takes a lot of time to be active more than 12 hours a day.

I am curious also about this.

This is a slightly different 'achievement' post from that which we regularly get on the forum (when a user attains a new rank/merit), but it's still as important, I must say you're really contributing immensely to making sure that the forum gets less and less of shitposts, and that's a service worthy of celebrating. The numbers you just shared is really a dream for many, but on another note, it's now somewhat of an encouragement, something that users can now try/look up to, and see the possibility of attaining, well done mate, this is really admirable.

I really admire the time you have spent here in the forum, you're delicately active in reporting spam, busting scams, and contributing good topics and discussions.  How did you do that? Cheesy  I was thinking that your PC/Laptop was working 24/7 which I don't know how it will survive.  IMO, it's really hard to balance the time between the forum and in real life.

Well, congratulations, you deserve to get a reporter badge and I hope admin theymos will reward hardworking members like you even through a badge.

You encouraging us this way, keep up the good work.

I doubt I could reach that in the near 10y future :-D

100 000 Good Reports

Impressive achievement, congratulations!
I am very curious which are the boards with the most (good) reports, but I don't think that such numbers are available now on this forum software.
Also: do you use some tool/robot for this or you just read so many threads and posts and report by hand?
(I won't ask whether you're human, although...hmm...)

Can't imagine! How is that possible  Huh Yea, likely you are from another planet  Grin.  Anyway, thanks for cleaning the forum. My achievements aren't big about reporting spam due to lack of enough time, my total report is 6025 with 99% accuracy. I know this wasn't an easy task to report 100000 with 100% accuracy, but you did. The post would inspire more users. Keep it up, buddy!

Being tempted to create a Merit source application thread. I don’t have smerit left to put some in this post. You deserve some merits here.
No merit sources added, currently the number is still 111 users.

If you want to get more merit, then improve the quality of your posts instead of just posting to complete campaign tasks. As simple as that.

Since it is customary for the forum to share our own achievements
It really isn't; it's only been in the last year or so that lower-ranked members have started to create threads tooting their own horns when they achieve a new rank.  That never used to be a thing.

But:

But now 31 months have passed and I have reached the amount of 100 000 sent reports.
Goddamn!!  If I'd hit that milestone for post reporting, I'm not sure I'd be able to refrain from the aforementioned horn-tooting.  That's a lot of reports, dude!  I've been a member of the forum since 2015 and I don't even have 5000 reports in total, and there was a period in 2017-18 when I was reporting tons of posts--so props to you for helping the forum out.  You really deserve a large, brightly-colored badge under your avatar in recognition of your reporting.

I'm sure a lot of members don't realize what it takes to keep the forum relatively free of spammers, shitposters, and other various rule breakers.  The people who report posts to the mods do so behind the scenes, and nobody would ever know to what extent they contribute to forum cleanliness if it wasn't pointed out in threads like this or when Theymos dumps reporting data ever four years or so.

So again, kudos to you, Ratimov.  Keep it up.
