Hey guys, doge-dealer is the same guy as donationcoin, he's trying to pretend he isn't to pump up interest.

Don't mine this coin, doge-dealer is a complete scumbag. I'm sure most of the premine will go into his pocket if he can ever get this shit coin listed on an exchange.

Wow every time I come to this thread I read more good news good luck to the team of this coin Im really counting on this one.

No mate Im not a dev of any coin lol  everytime i support a coin like dogecoin, blackcoin, darkcoin everyone keeps attacking me as if i made it in my backyard buddy open your eyes Im into 25 cryptos at the sametime you never know which one will skyrocket and give a nice ROI i suggest you do the same instead of spreading negative crap all around. In case you didnt know Im a dogecoin seller check my dogechain sometime http://dogechain.info/address/DG3iU9Zch2je4LUpzAzpSh86pF5sKo8diW

How many people are mining this coin? I started to mine yesterday and was getting a decent amount, took a break to go after something else and then back to this coin for the past hour or so. So far I have 13,487/90/91/92/94/95/97
13,487/90/91/92/94/95/97 what's this mean?
Do you have 13k in DonationCoin?
What's your hashrate?

Those are the blocks. I have about 3k in DON right now, but have given some away, well I guess Donated.

I am giving the network about 3.5MH/s

Finding about 3 in a row and then miss one every now and again.

Which pool are you on? I'm running a 2.4MH/s on charityminingpools.com so it's best to keep us separate with so few miners.

LOL even i got confused on that hashrate I was like hell either this guy got a huge 500mhs mining farm or something.

Hahah yeah definitely a WTF moment.

Quick question... how is this coin on it's 13000th block with so little mining support? Wasn't it just launched a week ago?
I've been mining for a few days and it's only gone up by about 7-800.

Since its a new coin the difficulty is low I suggest mining as much as possible as its worth it when it lands on the exchanges.

  • US Based Server Node
  • World Class Data Center
  • Low Latency = Better P2Pool Mining
  • No Registration
  • Customized Web Interface = Easier Reading and Graphs
  • PPLNS (longer mining = more steady payout)
  • P2Pool means better protection against DDOS attacks on pools. If the pool goes down, your shares are still valid and you'll get paid unlike with regular mining pools
  • No money left in any wallet, unlike regular mining pools. P2Pools leave no coins left in the pool so if a pool goes down, it doesn't take your coins with it.
  • Half of our fees go to Charity. See our donations page for more details

In the nature of P2Pool, if anyone wants to boost the network and run their own p2pool, I've posted my network.py values https://github.com/squiggie/p2pool-rav

We are not rushing to get onto an exchange simply because we'll be announcing the large charity fundraiser within the week which will give Donationcoin it's entry level price on the exchanges.

There is no rush as we are currently communicating with new charities and mining pools.

If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.

Do not panic.  We will not be rushing to ANY exchanges.

We have had people telling us how they will get us on an exchange etc.

We are not authorising this at all and it will not happen.

We are about to announce a very large charity fundraiser involving the selling of Donationcoin for BTC and then the funds will go to the charities involved in the fundraiser.

This will give Donationcoin its market value.

We are also in the middle of building forums for the coin on the website as to have a community base.

Do you know any other miner who would be interested in this coin.

We are a strong dev team who communicate all day and work on Donationcoin 24/7 as it's our full-time job.

We have had several people contact us wanting to build pools but not many people joining us mining, simply because we are not on an exchange yet.

The value of this coin will be down to the community but also down to the premine control which the charities will have under the advice of Donationcoin.

If you know of any other miners, now is the time to come on board and benefit in the long run as we are here to stay.
Do not rush to the exchanges, or the coin could and likely will be pump and dumped which causes good people to lose interest.
As I said in a PM, I've moved my miner over. My suggestion would be to let interest build with time while creating a network to use donationcoin on. Having lots of charities on board is what is key, hold off on some of the donations until the coin has momentum and then do them publicly.

We are currently ahead of the voting to be added to the mining pool at cryptogiving.com

This is amazing and we are really happy that there is so much interest in Donationcoin and hope that this trend continues.

*Charity Premine Donation Update*

We have contacted the charities again and have also publicly tweeted to each of them detailing the amount and to doowload the wallet to collect and control their donation.
